I’ve been thinking and it would have been a huge undertaking to get the email address from every application and send out an email update, especially if there are a lot of applicants to review. The voicemail was probably the most efficient way to let us know that they’re working on it. The wait super sucks, but at least we do have a timeline, we will definitely know by the end of this month!

For those waiting on financial aid, are you able to apply now as a just in case? If you need it it’ll be there but you don’t have to accept it if you aren’t enrolled in classes right?

I’m so excited for this program! I’m ready for an exciting career and to learn new things everyday.... plus I really feel like I’m going to be so cute in scrubs?? I’m not going to let a longer than expected wait ruin that for me.

They actually don’t type in everyone’s email address, it goes my our a#. Amanda also told me a robot sends out the emails. One to who is accepted and one to who is not accepted.

Yes you need to apply for financial aid like today. It opens in October of the year before you’ll need it (Fall 2019) for Fall 2020. I applied back in January. You do not have to accept what has been awarded to you. The best scrub store in Tucson is “scrub bees” on grant and Wilmot. It’s hard to find but I’ll give you guys directions if you want

Still cant get my financial aid package until I'm accepted into a program, not considered a full Pima student yet unfortunately ?

Anyone thinking of calling today or tomorrow?

I just now called and someone answered. She said acceptances have not gone out yet and to keep watching our emails. She didn’t give any other info

Okay, that sounds promising! didn't mention any delays so maybe tomorrow?

I'm surprised someone answered. I've called 3 times today and it just goes to voice mail. They are torturing us ?

I honestly think that the staff doesn't know much since they are not on the committee.

I highly doubt they will go out this week or next week. The fact that the person can’t give us any information is ridiculous and I bet that a bunch of the professors on the committee aren’t even at work. The coronavirus is closing many schools in Tucson now so I wouldn’t be surprised if Pima closes

Luckily nursing is in such high demand that I at least hope they won’t delay our classes if this gets worse, we need more nurses LOL.

Since our classes would start in the fall we'll probably be fine. Any Summer classes we need for CEP would be good too since they're online. It's honestly probably miscommunication or lack thereof between committee and advisors that answer our calls. I highly doubt they'd be making us wait on purpose as they dont really gain anything from it. Even if we have to wait, we'll be getting an answer eventually. We'll just have to prepare for either answer moving forward.

I agree it’s preparing us for a long and stressful two years but rewarding ?

They aren’t purposefully making us wait. My point is many professors and staff are not coming to work because of the virus so I feel like that is contributing to why we aren’t receiving our emails. I mean the UA is closed until further notice...
