Hello! I’ve been checking this site for a while hoping someone would start a thread.. and thought why don’t I?

Is anyone else applying to Pima CC nursing program with 2/1 deadline? I’m also applying to ASU CEP program! Just waiting for my degree to post and I’ll be all set to apply! ?

If we have to wait another week I’m going to be pissed. There’s no reason why it should take this long. Unless like 600 people applied which is extremely unlikely

I think it’s also ridiculous that the message states “in March”. March is an entire month long... I can’t wait much longer I’m really starting to get upset. If I don’t get in I don’t think I can do this again.

So next week is Spring break.. does that mean that Pima employees don’t work? So if we don’t get it this week will it even be possible to get it next week ? ?

I asked my instructor and they said that generally there are no faculty as they take the week off too, but that there’s no rules for the committee. They may or they may not take that week off as well

I really appreciate your response because I was very worried about this. I would like to think that they’d have the emails out by the end of this week then but if not I wouldn’t be surprised if they took Spring break off....

The program is really important for a lot of people so for now I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that theres a lot of applicants that need to screened to allow whoever they deem the best fits through. It would have helped a lot if they provided update emails, but that could be a suggestion for next cycle if they ask for any. Plus I dont think it helps with the corvid-19 crisis even though I dont think Arizona or Tucson in general are heavily effected right now. My brother is a sophomore at one of the local uni's here in WA and they've moved all classes to online since last Tuesday!

Since last Spring they seemed to recieve emails on Wed, I'll bank on tomorrow or Friday if not. Waiting until end of March will be extremely tight for financial aid unfortunately, but hopefully they'll give extensions because of the longer wait.

For sure, and I know it’s SO hard and everyone is probably sick to death of hearing it... but we just need to stay strong. I think I’m in the final stage of grief lmao because I’ve just accepted that we’ll hear when we hear. It’s still hanging over my head but I’m trying to just keep occupied with other tasks and not let it eat at me.
