I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Oh by the way my friend is going to join soon. But for now if you want to add him. He has a 4.0 and is taking the teas tomorrow. He lives in Pasco and is hoping for Porter.
I'll add him once he joins, I need a name and teas score to put in, also heather you will get a letter in the mail notifying you that the forms you submitted are good to go with more information included on the letter. I know 3 other people who submitted an application but they are not on here either, they have higher scores then everyone on here.
Thanks. He's doing great. After seeing everyone's scores I'm getting nervous. I just received my letter in the mail that my application was received. Now the long wait.
No there are surely others who apply to both, every one of my friends who have done it in previous years applied to both but got accepted into RN, I just really don't want to wait until fall to apply again and waste more time, seeing as I have only 3 classes left after this semester for bachelors in nursing. I've done all co req's etc. I do feel confident about my rank, but it just depends on who apply I mean none of us might get in you never know... Spring is supposed to be easier then fall to get into and I know people got in with low 80 cumulative.. I don't know other scores though. You're only one point ahead of me, that would be some **** if you get in and I don't XD.
Im extremely nervous about my score because i feel like when they see my TEAS score alone i wont get in idk... i just didnt do well at all... almost everyone on here did better on the TEAS then I did.
That's a negative ghost rider, I got the same score as you , only I have a 3.77 gpa. They don't go on teas scores alone so it doesn't matter. I assume they calculate all the scores, and put them in a long list and pick the top cut off and the campus they are closest to etc.
I still feel confident about my rank even on here, because all of us on here took the time to research and try our best on the teas. It can't be to far off from the real ratio. Is anyone on here a male?
