I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Good idea, I will call the school. Thanks! My address is the same in WISE as my DL. The only think I can think it would be is that when I first started college (15yrs ago), I really bombed out. My overall GPA is low, although it's clear that went I went back to school, my grades improved. I'm more worried about doing the LPN program and not getting into the transition and having to go the generic rN route. It seems like a waste of time if no one can get into the transition and they have to redo the whole program.
That's confusing...if you turned in your correct TEAS score, you are barely under me (I have an 85.5 overall score and you have an 85.375 overall score). The only thing I can think of is that someone else had the same exact overall score, pre-req GPA, and TEAS as you so they looked at your overall GPA. Hope you figure it all out! Make sure to call them!
My friend just finished the program. She said Cherokee is the best. She also said that for the ladies underwear shows thru. Make sure to get nude underwear:)

I found that out while trying them all on. My wife makes wedding dresses and she told me that 95% of white fabrics are see through unless you go with denim and thick satan lol

Hi everyone and Congrats to everyone who got it. I was rejected for the RN, which makes no sense bc I have a 3.5 and an 82 on TEAS + residency.
This makes zero sense. I got picked as an alternate instead of a flat out rejection and you kill my score ranking. Maybe there is a flaw in the ranking system and nobody but the committee will say how they pick. Maybe they just draw out of a hat, who knows. As far as your residency, my WISE address is Hillsborough County but my license is a Pasco Address and I still got the bonus.
