PHSC 2015 Nursing Hopefuls

Hey everyone!

I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?

Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

Jemcvay, everyone but you has said their campus so far who has given scores. Heather when you apply for RN you are automatically put into a pool of people I am assuming because there is no campus check box, that's for LPN. Daiquirin I am sure you'll get in people got in with your score for fall.

Sorry about that! I pulled an all nighter last night (cramming for the teas exam I took today). I'm a zombie right now lol. Anyways I am applying for West Campus. Does anyone know how many they except?

What does everyone submit on that checklist besides the teas score and driver license enlarged photo and the $25 receipt for application?

Jemcvay, I believe it's 48 seats at west campus and 24 at porter campus for spring. Sweet101, You hand in the checklist, application,application fee, driver license, Teas scores, and make sure all your transcripts are there and have done the pre reqs I believe. Sweet101, Might I ask your pre req, teas and resident info if you have them?

Ugh i'm really upset about my score:( I ranked in the 90 percent nationally for the science part with a 75! That says something lol I bombed the english part.

Did you have a lot of chemistry on your exam?

Sweet101 I had the same score as him on the science I bombed reading ( slow reader didn't answer 20+ questions) The science questions are very diverse but I didn't have to much chemistry although everything is mixed up and could pull any questions. I also see another post that is already directed towards phsc 2015 and some of you are on it.
