I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
I am only applying for RN. I have a lot of friends tell me that they regret going LPN only because there isnt a lot of jobs out there any more for that position. I figured if i didn't get in i would study some more for the TEAS retake them and try again for the fall. But for now i would take the Phlebotomy classes and lab clinical and get my foot in the door that way! any thing in the field is better than what i'm doing now!! i'm a server (not a bad job just not in the field) and it is a good way to practice sticking people :)
Oh i meant to say i originally was only going to apply to Porter since its my home campus but now i'm thinking i am going to apply to both West and Porter to have a better chance.
How did you figure out the composition score? I want to help my friend chris figure out his.
Ugh i'm really upset about my score:( I ranked in the 90 percent nationally for the science part with a 75! That says something lol I bombed the english part.
