PHSC 2015 Nursing Hopefuls

Hey everyone!

I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?

Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

Anyone else SO OVER this rain? When I went to pick up my form from West Campus it looked like it might flood, and that was DAYS ago! Hope we all make it to orientation ok!

Me!!! I'm so over it already!!! I hope everyone makes it there safely as well. I'm hoping it stops raining next week! Haven't looked at the weather though...

Does anyone know if the Bachelor of Science in Nursing at PHSC is accredited?

yes it is accredited.

WithValor, it is not accredited according to the PHSC website. Apparently from what people have told me its very close to being accredited, but as of right now, it's not.

Decided to call Connie and double check one more time before the weekend. She informed me that all the transition seats were accepted. :( Can't help but feel a little blue. I've already turned in my application for Porter's January program, so hopefully something works out.

So sorry to here this :-( I have to retake my teas this month and then going to be reapplying for spring as well.! Good luck to bith of us. :-)
