I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Thanks. I knew something had to be up as well, which was why I've been a little...snotty. I honestly feel like my lifespan has taken a ten year hit and I'm so drained that if I could, I'd just sleep till orientation.
I did see the original post and wont answer as I had planned. I only want to say that you are right and there is no need to apologize for posting it. A lot of what I've said as been childish and immature and speaks of someone much younger than my 20 years. I apologize to everyone for that.
I did not think before I clicked post, on several occasions over the past couple of days and that was not fair to you all, to the school, or to myself. One tidbit on my previous post I will clarify however:
When I say I know more than most about the hard work that goes into applying for this program. I mean that I've worked in the TLC for two years and have seen countless men and women struggle to get the grades and the scores that they need. I never meant that I worked harder than anyone, I see how my words can be taken that way and that's not at all what I meant.
The way they handled this this time was very confusing and frustrating. Everyone was going crazy and getting more angry with every weird move they made. I'm happy all of us got our answers...finally!
As for those who didn't get in..keep trying! Spring is right around the corner :)
Almost all! Some of us our still waiting on an alternate seat since the deadline has now passed for people to accept/decline their seat. :) Fingers crossed!
