PHSC 2015 Nursing Hopefuls

Hey everyone!

I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?

Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

I've ordered my scrub tops and patches! They came in the mail today!! I was so excited to see my Student RN patches!!!

Where did you order them from? The school website?

Yep! I ordered them online from the school's bookstore. My husband bought my scrub pants from a sceub scrub shop near our home in Zephyrhills.

Do you think we have to buy the pants that they show on the website or do you think any white scrub pants will be okay?

I purchased my scrub bottoms from somewhere else. The nursing handbook didn't say they had to be purchased from the school.

How many tops/bottoms did you buy? I'm sure they'll let's us know but I was just curious. Where can I find the NUrsing handbook?

I still haven't received anything.

I recieved my no offer letter in the mail Monday so sure you'll here something soon.. there is already a 2016 Hopeful blog started so I will be on there and will apply to the spring program. Congrats again to you all who made it :-)

So here's the newly updated list. There are some people that said they were accepted but I didn't have a composite score, so I left them off the list for now because I'm awful, lazy person that didn't want to add names without a score attached.

Hopefully I get a letter soon. I still haven't recieved anything and after seeing everyone get their emails, I'm starting to dread the idea that I didn't get in.
