I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Aec2210 did you receive your acceptance email? I would think if you were accepted they change your major in wise when you acccept. I have received acceptance yet and my major has not changed.
Does anyone know officially when orientation and all that stuff starts? I'm out of the country on vacation and trying to stay as long as I can !!! í ½í¸ƒí ½í¸ƒí ½í¸ƒ I imagine we need background check/drug screen etc soon, right??
My major was changed too : ) from what I've heard there is no set date or time for orientation yet. We are supposed to be receiving an email from the nursing department with all of that information. And so begins the waiting again : )
No Jesss I haven't received anything yet, it's pretty depressing. But, my major changed from aa in arts to NDOPO-XX other objectives which is like earned bachelors degree transient so I'm thinking that's an indication I didn't get in bc they didn't know what I would be anymore.
Any more acceptance or alternate letters today? I'm hoping once people start returning their letters I will hear something about an available seat. Fingers crossed! For those of you who were accepted, what is the deadline to accept/reject your seat?
I didn't receive an email or a letter, I'm pretty sure I have been denied due to my composite score not being so great... I'm pretty sad and bummed but all I can do is try to raise my TEAS score and apply next year í ½í¸¢í ½í¸¢ Next year June just seems so far away !! í ½í¸• Congrats to everyone that got in !!
