Phillips Beth Israel Applicants 2014

Hello all prospective nurses!

I am curious to know if there is anyone who has applied to Beth Israel for the upcoming Fall 2014 start date. I delivered my completed application on Friday the 28th and so I guess now all I do is wait and see. From past posts I know people sometimes wait until June to know if they are accepted or not. Hopefully we can get a good thread going here and can compare nln scores and share any information that we hear from the school. I hope to talk to some people that are in the same boat as me soon!

Thank you BklynEMT. We can still do study groups in the nursing courses. Super excited, I got the acceptance email around 3. Going to pay the deposit soon as I get back from vacation!!!

Congrats everyone, I've been fortunate enough to also get an acceptance letter! Very excited and happy, hope to see you all soon, I got into the traditional though I want to do ATOP. Any way congratulations to all of you again!

I still havnt gotten an interview but i emailed her the other day and she said my application was still under review it sucks because i wish i did better on the nln. CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS !! If you dont mind what was your nln scores ? I talked to some girl that is in the school now and she said hers was low 105 and she got in and was one of the lasts to get an interview so im trying to stay positive !

Yes stay positive Ariellabella, I was in the same boat a couple of weeks ago, my GPA was horrendous, like a 2.7 from community college and a 1.8 from university... you just have to show that you want it and stay positive. best of luck!

Ariellabella, I took my nln about 2 years ago and I got a 115. But I also have a bachelor's in psych.

Suzane_nguyen you can ask them to put you in the atop, if you meet the requirements

I got an interview finally on April 24 !! I am so excited and relieved.

She said sorry for short notice its tomorrow im so nervous and i applied for the traditional program. What about you ?

Short notice or not its great that you got this interview. I am happy for you! I am in atop. Also no need to be nervous, just be yourself and you`ll do great :)

Anyone have any ideas why the deadline to apply was extended to June 1st?

I actually just sent in my application a week and a half ago and have not yet taken the NLN.

I am a little freaked to hear that acceptances are already happening... sounds like I will wind up competing for a smaller number of spots. Anybody in the know on this?
