Shaynalmt I am not sure as to the specific reasons why but I believe that it has something to do with them starting a BSN program. So maybe they are extending the deadline so that they can fill up those spots

i had my interview yesterday and it went well. It was very easy going and relaxed i feel really confident, thank you to everyone on here for helping me stay calm and positive and now i just have to wait to hear back there meeting again on May 5 !!

Shaynalmt, i asked yesterday and they say april 1 but he told me its just so everyone gets things in on time and yeah you still have time the deadline is June 1 as of yesterday he said there were still seats left so goodluck with the nln and everything and stay positive!

Ariellabella, I'm glad your interview went well. Like I said before I went in all nervous, but it ended up being so easy going. I'm sure you did well and there is nothing to worry about. I know that the wait to hear your status after the interview is going to feel like forever. I'm sending you positive vibes!

I love checking back and reading of all the new people that have joined this thread and have gotten in or had interviews! Congratulations to all of you!!!

For those of you who are waiting to hear about acceptance, relax and try to keep your mind busy with other things or the days will start to feel like years! I know I was afraid to think positively just in case I didn't get in but know that the odds are in your favor.

I cant wait to hear the positive news!

AriellaBella congratulations on your interview! Guess we're both waiting 'til after May 5th, the wait is just killing me but I'm sure we'll be fine. Good luck!!!! and as Melinda said I can't wait to hear either, keep us updated! On some other news-- still trying to meet anyone that has applied for the evening program, would ease some of the tension from entering a new school(assuming I get in lol)

Hi everyone, I'm too accepted into the traditional program and I cannot wait to meet some of you guys in the program! And for the rest of you keep positive! I know it's nerve racking to go through the interview process and the waiting game, but it will all be worth it at the end!

Has anyone made a facebook page yet? Also has anyone looked at stethoscopes yet? I hope they send us everything soon. Because my summer is pretty booked and would hate to cancel my fun to make sure my future is set Lol! Plus I can't wait to start and meet you all

I haven't heard anything about a Facebook page. Though I think if someone does start it it should be a closed group.

As for stethoscopes, I have one that is four years old now. I bought a Littman and it is an ok scope. Some people do better with other kinds. Your best bet is to go out and look at various ones. To be honest, I hear from the cheap $5 ones just as good if not better. It's one of the most easily lost and stolen things I have ever owned.

I was thinking of getting the cardiology 3 by littmann. i heard great reviews about and figured that it would be a great investment. I am a bit nervous about getting it now because i do not want to lose it or have it stolen, that would simply be a lot of money lost. I guess i will continue to shop around
