Phillips Beth Israel Applicants 2014

Hello all prospective nurses!

I am curious to know if there is anyone who has applied to Beth Israel for the upcoming Fall 2014 start date. I delivered my completed application on Friday the 28th and so I guess now all I do is wait and see. From past posts I know people sometimes wait until June to know if they are accepted or not. Hopefully we can get a good thread going here and can compare nln scores and share any information that we hear from the school. I hope to talk to some people that are in the same boat as me soon!

Good morning. I handed my application in back in January. I took the first scheduled NLN on January 7th. I know that there had been a delay in scheduling interviews because there was a change in the interviewer. So I guess we have to just wait patiently.

Oh wow. Good job at handing your application in early. Do you mind if I ask what your nln score and GPA are? I thought the application process was the hardest part but the waiting is way harder. Good luck to you though!

Good luck to you too! My NLN was 145 (98th percentile), verbal was 97, math 94, and science 95. My GPA was 4.0.

Thats great! You sound like a great candidate. Where did you hear about the delay in scheduling interviews?

I emailed the school about the status of my application and the process for notification if we have been selected to interview.

hi everyone!

just received an email stating I have an interview and it's grouped. just curious, has anyone had their interview yet? Was it a group interview? I'm wondering if that's something new they're trying this year because I always thought it was an individual interview

The group interview is something new that they are trying this year. I attended an open house a fe months ago and they said that they were changing the interview process. Congratulations on the interview! I just got an email this morning saying that I have an interview also! Its such a weird feeling after working so hard to being so close to getting in.

Congratulations to you BklynEMT! It's a good day for a few of us it seems. My interview is scheduled for Tuesday the 18th. I'll let you know how it goes.
