Phillips Beth Israel Applicants 2014

Hello all prospective nurses!

I am curious to know if there is anyone who has applied to Beth Israel for the upcoming Fall 2014 start date. I delivered my completed application on Friday the 28th and so I guess now all I do is wait and see. From past posts I know people sometimes wait until June to know if they are accepted or not. Hopefully we can get a good thread going here and can compare nln scores and share any information that we hear from the school. I hope to talk to some people that are in the same boat as me soon!

Congrats Dlaffin09! It wouldn't hurt to ask about the schedule change.

Futurernk, to be honest I haven't heard anything about Tauro one way or the other. Sorry I couldn't help.

StephieL, what is the Karpa program? Am I the only one that doesn't know about it?!?

Bklynemt , i didnt know what that was either. Its a three week refresher course that goes over someath and critical thinking classes designed for people who have been out of a classroom setting for a while. Kudos to anyone who takes it, but i know i wanna take a break this summer knowing whats ahead of me lol

Thank you, Dlaffin09, I am so with you on that one. We have this summer to relax! Next summer we have classes and I don't plan on being able to breathe until after the NCLEX!

Ive been checking this page out for a while and just joined. I called on tuesday and found out im in!!!!!! Got the acceptance email as well now just waiting for the letter.

Dlaffin09 I think me and you interviewed together on march the 28th at 3pm I was the girl that was sitting next to you in the middle. I knew you would get in and you can definitely request to change schedules. It wouldnt hurt to ask.

CONGRATS to everyone that got in we deserved it since we worked so hard. I know more hard times are to come but at least we got over the first major hurdle and we're in!! :roflmao: :laugh:

I agree with those who want to enjoy their summer before life gets really busy! I am contemplating taking diet and nutrition during the summer but just really want to work and try and save as much money as I can and enjoy the sunshine!

I love seeing that more and more people are hearing that they are in! I cant wait to start receiving letters in the mail :)

Hi im new to this site first congratulations to everyone whose got accepted woooo !!! and i applied also to beth Israel handed everything in in Feb however my nln score was low :( I've been keeping in touch and she said my application was still under review my gpa is a 3.4 and everything else was really good i just hoped to get some support and positivity from here. She said I'll know by April or May but im just worried because everyone had interviews already. Just trying to stay positive I applied to two other schools but beth Israel is my first choice

Hello Ariellabella,

I know it is easier said than done, but try to not worry too much. Beth Israel looks at the whole student not just the NLN score. My score was high but my GPA is average and I got in. Remember that hearing nothing as of yet, is better than hearing "no".

So I had my interview today and I must say that it went well! The way the interviewer spoke it was like we were in and she was just doing the interview just to get to know us better. Lol maybe im reading into this too much, fingers crossed guys!!!!! I get my response on the 22nd!! Im trying to get into the ATOP because i took majority of the courses but hey if I get in we can still help each other out. Also they just started a RN-BSN program!!!!

Ariellabella don't worry hun. I saw more people in the waiting room for interviews so I am pretty sure that they will be contacting you soon!

Who else is in the traditional program with me?!?! :)
Im in it as well!! Hopefully my classes transfered and ill be able to take mostly nursing classes only.
