Phillips Beth Israel Applicants

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....

How did you do on the NLN? Are your grades good? I wouldnt be too concerned. Also Maybe they are going through applications in groups and your group just hasnt been reviewed it

Stinson, I wouldn't worry about that. They do send out FORMAL acceptance letters in May so that was pobably what she was talking about but they sometimes call or email you to let you know whether you were accepted or not before then. What school did you get accepted to and when do you have to let them know whether you accept or not?

Hi guys..

I don't understand something though.. I know they call in for interviews people they are interested in... before the letters..so i don't know if it makes sense.

I did ok in the NLN, I was on the overall 91st percentile.. what about you?

Did you guys apply to any other programs? did anyone here anything yet?

The other program starts in JUne, and I would liek to make my plans...so I don't think I can afford waiting until mayish..

91st percentile is good. I scored in the 88th percentile. The only thing I can tell you from other threads on here is some people didn't know they got in until the middle of June. If you were already accepted to the other program why are you waiting for this one? (if you don't mind me asking) All nursing programs are really hard to get into. I would jump for any program that accepted me! When do you have to accept their offer?

OMG guys! Hi all!!! I haven't been getting updates for the website to my email so I haven't been on in a LONG time. But I've also been trying to keep my mind off it since it totally stresses me out thinking about waiting! Kuklara and Jayzelena that's awesome you're apps are being reviewed! I need to call tomorrow and speak to MG and find out.

Stinson and Italian - Welcome!!! I am 24 yrs old. Overall I did 96 percentile in AD 97 ALL. Stinson when did you send in your application? I know Jayzelena and Kuklara sent them in earlier so maybe that's why MG said it wasn't going to be until may. I know from previous years' posts that some people heard by april or even their interview about their acceptance. Seems like if you get an interview you're pretty much set (let's hope).

Hey Starlette - I was wondering what happened to you. As I'm sure you read I was told a the beginning of the week I should get a response in the next week or two! Hopefully sooner than later because I already started stalking the mailman...I wont leave my house til the mail comes (How pathetic!)

Oh yeah! You and Jayzelena both! How exciting! Keep us posted! =) I've really just tried to keep it off my mind lol. I sent MG 3 emails about my status when she was away lol. Thought I would give it a little of a rest. I don't want to be annoying lol
