Phillips Beth Israel Applicants

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....

Hey Stinson, you mentioned being an international student - where are you from?

I applied for the day program but I wrote in paranthesis that I would also do ATOP because I only have 2 more pre-reqs to take.

She probably told you that because they didn't get a chance to look at your application yet and maybe she dosn't want students calling every day for statuses.

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Did you ask her specifically what was the status of you application?

Remember she did just come back from vacation so maybe she is super busy and I just happened to catch her at a time where she wasnt that busy and actually had a chance to get up and see where my app was.

My family is from Greece I live in Queens. Are you curretnyl living in Manhattan?

I guess we will wait n see..problem is i don;t really have time till may! I got accepted to another prgram that starts in june. Did you apply to other programs? Were you born in america? I'm currently in Manhattan :)

I called and she told me my file was still being reviewed! :D She didn't say anything to me about when I would hear anything but then again I didn't ask. I hope we hear something soon! Keep your fingers crossed.:)

Hey Everyone, I just found this website! I also applied for fall 2010 day program. I called on Friday and they told me my application was up for review, but I don't know what that means. I hope everyone gets accepted!
