a candidate was not able to seat for the exam because here passport has no signature. to all candidate be sure you affix your signature on your passport
Now im more confused after reading all these. I too have the same problem. I took CGFNS and used my entire name as my signature since it was stated in the form to do that ( well, although it wasn't my usual signature and differs from that in my passport). then i applied for NCLEX using the same signature as that in my CGFNS thinking it would be appropriate to have the same signature for both international exams. Now it seems we are unsure to sit for the nclex exam due to this discrepancy. Well although, we would be able to sit for the exam if permitted, that discrepancy might be found out later so we are still unsure of their decision (NCSBN and BON).
Would it be wiser to just email the facts to BON prior to taking the exams?i havent received my eligibility and ATT anyway.
Here's what I had done, I applied for CES/CGFNS using the first/middle/last name as my signature in the application form, school and license verification form.I applied to BON using the signature in my passport (first/last name only), the same for NCLEX.
I wish i did that....but was thinking it would be appropriate to have the same signature for both CGFNS and NCLEX since they are both international exams.
Do you really sign in a registration form on the day of the NCLEX exam? I thought they will just see if your name is the same in your ATT, passport and application. NCSBN stated that but no mention as to the signature.
Dont they just get your fingerprint and picture???

your just making yoursel complicated. ok to summarized it, once your in the pearson testing center they will ask your passport, the signature in your passport should match the signature specimen they will ask you during the resistration. thats it!:angryfire

CGFNS and NCLEX are totally different and they do not 'compare notes' w/ one another.
They will also let you sign-in in an electronic/digital pad on the day of the exam in addition to getting our digital picture and f.print scanned.
For NCLEX: you sign in w/ the same signature that you gave w/ your State BON licensure application and use that same signature all through out. The original poster forgot the signature he did on his State BON application so that made problems for him.

You may e-mail them if you want.
I think dave23 gave the best answer already in post # 21. Please refer to it for reference. And just to add, CGFNS/ICHP will also ask your signature to be affixed to the passport-sized picture submitted to them in such applications as the Visa Screen Certificate and you affix your usual signature to it as well. A printed full name (at least to majority of people) will never fit that passport-sized pic. The printed name as signature is only for the CGFNS/ICHP application forms because they specifically instructed so. For future reference, all other application forms wanting a signature should be signed w/ the usual signature unless you are instructed to print it instead as CGFNS requests on their application forms for their own purposes.
