:yeah:Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the RN program for PHCC Spring 2012????
Maza--I understand where you are coming from. I work at my fiance's financial firm so he sees how much i check this website and stress over this. He thinks its ridiculous and can't comprehend how competitive this field is. He says I'm stressing for no reason. and i constantly read him other people's stats that have or have not gotten in. He just nods his head and agrees to whatever to shut me up. LOL. If anything, this site has definitely been a gateway to letting out my frustration!
I called and made an appointment with an advisor. I do not remember the ladies name, but i remember what she looks like. I will find out about this... I am very angry. She flat out told me I could only retake a courseif I flunked it and I had not?
Jenny, end of next, beginning on following... ugg! This wait is terrible.
okay, i've been reading this thread hoping someone else got a letter. nothing yet, huh? all i know (from trying the last 3 semesters) is that it all depends on our pool of students applying, how many applied and what everyone scored. it will work in everyone’s favor if there were not a lot of applicants and a fair amount of spots open j i also heard if you sign on with a hospital, they push you through. (doesn't really seem fair, does it?) anyway, good luck to everyone! (i know i'm going to need it!)
and @ millsypoo- if i'm not mistaken, you have to apply through the dean to re-take classes that you previously passed. i knew a couple to students that were approved to re-take a course and they used the reason that the rn program was so competitive to get in, they had no choice. i hope everything works out. ;-)

Honestly i'm hoping it doesn't come to that. I was thinking of USF or maybe the University of Tampa but I really haven't worked out the details in my head yet!
