PHCC spring 2012 RN acceptance letters?

Published

:yeah:Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the RN program for PHCC Spring 2012????

Hi Athena!! Welcome to the peanut gallery lol. Did you also apply for RN for January and what are your stats if you don't mind me asking? :yeah::yeah::yeah:

i heard the info about the hospitals from a friend of mine in the lpn bridge program. i actually have heard about it for years, but never knew if it was true or not... until about 2 years ago, i went to one of the phcc nursing seminars where it was confirmed. again, that was 2 years ago and a lot of things have changed!

justletgo: i applied back in the day (when it was the net test) got accepted lpn, but denied it because it was nights/weekends (boy if i knew they what i knew now...) retook the net got picked as an alternate for rn (but never got a call)then the teas version 3/4 came out, i took it twice. the first time i did not score high enough in all 4 categories (missed the last section,

so i guess in all actuality, i really have only applied with those stats twice. but, also i am not sure if you read this in my earlier posts… my really good friend who has a teas version 5 score of 80% and a gpa of 3.5, both of which is lower than mine got picked as an alternate the last go around, so??? i am baffled at this point!

well good luck to us all… *** one more thing, 1 other thing i have noticed throughout the years (this is just my opinion) but, any male that i have seen apply, gets in, as long as he meets the minimum requirements!

oh my goodness Mills!!! You so deserve to get in if nothing else for all your effort and persistance. Thank you so much for explaining your situation. Yes I also did here that poeple got accepted last January even with a 78% Teas score. We should know really soon with this go around!!!!! :nurse::nurse::nurse:

I really hope we hear soon... this anticipation is killing me. It is very frustrating to me because I am a great student and I know I will be a valuable nurse. If I do not get in again, I will retake my Anatomy1 lecture and bring that GPA up and also finish up my personal statement for USF.

mills-you deserve to get in! The fact that you've worked so hard for so long at this definitely shows that you are passionate about getting into nursing school! Best of luck to you! As far as the reserved seats, you maybe right that they used to save seats for hospitals. Maybe they changed it; I just know what they told me about THIS semester for the RN program. :) But hey, thank goodness because it works in our favor!

So....tomorrow is the day they told Maza so, it REALLY should be any day now!!!!!!!!!!! :) GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!!!! HOPEFULLY WE WILL ALL BE CLASSMATES!!!

Let me begin by stating that I am in favor of gender equality. Let me finish by stating that if I get in simply because I am a male, I'll take it! Lol

maza: I do not blame you for one second... Good luck!

Good morning, Everyone! I am new to this site but so glad to have stumbled across it because I, myself, am going crazy waiting for the letters to go out. When I went to the West Campus and turned in my app the woman in admin said we should have something in the mail by Oct 15th...well that didn't happen. I also called the main number and this person looked it up in her general questions and said by the end of October. Please please please...if anyone gets something in the mail let all of us know! I am going crazy and can think of nothing else. I also wish everyone applying for the program the best of luck!

Anyone get there mail yet today.........

I am at work till 5pm, this is agonizing!

i got my mail (my fiance lost the key and i just found it so i haven't been able to get the mail since wednesday!) and nothing from PHCC. I did get my acceptance letter from another college I applied to though so I'm quite excited about that. :) PHCC is my number one choice so I'm still on pins and needles waiting with all of you!!! Fingers crossed that today is the day!!!! I dont know how much longer I can take this! :chair::smackingf:hdvwl::grn::anbd:

Congrats Jennymarie... Do you mind if I ask where else did you apply and get in?

Well hopefully we start hearing of letters rolling in SOON. I get nervous when others start getting letters and I do not, in the past it has not been a good sign. I think they send out acceptance letters before sending out the denials.

Thank you :) I applied to Remington's BSN program. Since I already have a bachelors and masters in a science field, i thought i would give it a shot. Unfortunately, its in Orlando so thats why i have reservations about it. I have a good feeling about this week! When I called on friday, I *thought* I heard the lady say that the letters had just got sent out but I wasn't sure if I heard her right. So, please don't hold to me that but let's just hope we hear something this week!!!!
