PHCC spring 2012 RN acceptance letters?

:yeah:Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the RN program for PHCC Spring 2012????

I bet they met yesterday. Why are they taking so long this semester? Ugh...

Springhopeful- youjust got your letter of receipt today... hmmm, I receievd mine forever ago?

Yeah..I just got my reciept today! I was freaking out thinking they didn't get my application or something! I thought it was odd that it came so late. The letter was dated the 12th, but postage shows it wasn't mailed until yesterday.

Am I the only one who just now got reciept?? I hope that isnt a bad sign lol

I cannot believe it is taking this long. When I handed in my application, the woman told me I would know by the 15th, website says end of Oct., and when you call, each person says something different. Don't they know how impatient we are!!?

I didn't do very well on my TEAS and didn't have 30 days to retest, so I am most likely freaking out over what will end up being a rejection letter...regardless...the not knowing SUCKS :eek:

Well, I guess I should have a bone density test...cause that feeling in my bones was INCORRECT! No letter today as well.....well I guess it is good that none of us received an acceptance letter yet cause we all think those go out first and we are all in good standing soooooooo tomorrow it is!!! I am so over this mail thing lol.....I feel like a hasbeen...lol

@ springhopeful - I hear ya on the confusion concerning dates! I was initially told the 17th when I turned in my app. But that too has come and gone.

I think I'm gonna try to stop driving myself nuts, I'll get it when I get it I suppose.

oh my goodness. i just don't have it in me to worry like this anymore! although i'm promising myself to not stress anymore (its completely out of our hands at this point), i'd still enjoy to keep this thread going! Anyone start to look at stethoscopes? I heard Littman's are the best to have! Also, anyone look into CPR classes? My certification is out of date.

My husband just started PA school in June and I bought him a Littman and they are the BEST! I have always heard that is one thing you should not scrimp on. His was $229.00, and I also had it engraved with his initials for an extra $14 because a RN friend of mine have had 2 Littman's stolen from her at work...

I redid my CPR last November, so I am good until November of 2012.

thanks mills! And what a great idea to have it engraved! I would be furious if anyone stole mine. I can't even imagine the nerve of someone stealing it in the first place.

Nothing from our friend the mail carrier. I honestly don't know what aspects make certain stethoscopes better than others. Is there anyone here that does?
