PHCC spring 2012 RN acceptance letters?

:yeah:Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the RN program for PHCC Spring 2012????

I was reading on the internet and found out the NCLEX will change just before we finish (2013). I guess they update it every 3 years or so. They just revised it in 2010.

did they mention any of the possible changes? Is anyone else planning on furthering their education beyond RN? I've been hearing a lot of speculation that the requirements for NP are changing dramatically in 2015. That would be just before we are eligible to start NP school. Also, does anyone have any info on whether you need a BSN to go onto NP? I'm assuming a bachelor's degree is needed in general but does it have to be in nursing? I've been given mixed answers on this.

And yes, all these questions are simply to keep my mind off of the fact that we are still waiting......very impatiently!

I believe that you can review the previous alterations they have made to the test. I don't want to speculate about the changes in 2013, but I believe the previous changes were only the addition of questions and changes with the questions themselves. As for me, my immediate goal (If everything goes according to plan) is to work, please don't misunderstand me, for I have NO plans on discontinuing my education. I have checked into USF and found that they offer a AS to MS accelerated program but only if you do not currently have a bachelor's degree and you must be currently licensed as an RN. My only concern with this program is the fact that whenever you take shortcuts, there's always a drawback, I just don't know what they could be in this circumstance. I am also thinking about eventually becoming a CRNA, but I will have to look into this possibility further in the future, when everything is more "attainable" and definite.

Okay nothing for me as well....I already have a bachelors in Health and my plan is (if everything goes well) is to get my BSN to start...I do not know if you need a BSN in order to go further.....we all have really good questions....once we are at peace with our letters I am going to do more research so I have a future FUTURE goal ya know!!!

On the other PHCC thread, someone mentioned that PHCC said they mailed letters out today and will mail more tomorrow.

Hopefully that's true!!
