PHCC spring 2012 RN acceptance letters?

Published

:yeah:Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the RN program for PHCC Spring 2012????

Any news today??? I will not be home till after 5, so I will have my daughter check the mail again, when she gets home from scholl.

Athena: Thanks for the info... I have an appointment set up with an advisor, so we will see what happens. Just very angry because I would have re-did that course a long time ago...

**Also, I checked with my friend (the LPN) and she said that the hospital do reserve seats in the RN generic and LPN bridge. She just was not sure if the do it each semester?? Hopefully this cycle all 48 are open to the applicants that have not promised their souls to a hospital. (have you ever looked over one of those contracts?)

Have a great weekend!

I've missed you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My computer was ill for 2 days!!!! I feel like a missed a week of school with all the back and forths...lol.....Okay no letter today and I also knew nothing about this hospital thingy....if anyone finds out how to look into it 'just in case' let us know please. I am going with you Maza...they prob sent out the letters today and the 17th sounds good to me!! And jennie I actually keep this post up on my screen all night....so we are crazies together:p

What do you mean by "sign on with a hospital"? Furthermore, how would one go about this process? Would you have to work at a hospital already? Or currently be a CNA, LPN, etc.?

You do not have to currently work at the hospital, but you do have to sign a contract stating that you will work for them while going to school and after for X amount of time... the hospital will pay for your schooling and help train you. If a hospital participates in this kind of program, the information is usually on their website. I know that it is on Morton Plant Mease"s web site.

Ok...to put our anxieties to rest...phcc does not affiliate with any hospital in which their employees would bevreserved seats. You can only enter into this program once you have been accepted into a nursing school.

Aka...there are 48 seats available at fair game!

Well let's not rule out the LPN bridge program...

I dont know anything about the bridge program. Im referring to the RN program.

Where did you read that info Jennie? and also curious where mills read that info also. I really can't believe that Mills was declined 4 times with those scores????

I called and spoke to admissions. From a different phone! Lol

too funny! Maza was joking with saying we should stalk them but we already do-I love it!!! Finally psychos like me hahahahah;)

I'm glad to know that all 48 spots are open!
