:yeah:Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the RN program for PHCC Spring 2012????
Hey everyone, I also heard that the 1 step will be accepted but that we might be better off getting the 2 step because it may become a requirement soon. I live in the Bayonet Point area. I ended up calling my old high school for them to send me records of all my shots because I believe that should be enough.. right? lol I know I still need the physical/flu/ppd but I am thinking the old records should be what I need. I would be interested in carpooling too if anyone is interested. At least our clinical sites are close.
Kelly from the nursing admissions (she is also the one who will be doing our orientation) told me that they are supposed to be Bayonet Point, Community, Rehab (behind IHOP in Hudson) North Bay, and that she isn't sure which we will go to first but that it would very likely be one of those.
Does anyone have a recommendation for shoes? I haven't seen any that I love and all the "nursing" shoes I have found hurt my feet.. lol
I think as long as they are the same "style" we should be fine, but I think to play it safe I will ask as well. I was going to go over to the school and check out what they have because that way if we can get different kinds, I will know what they need to look like.
This might be a dumb question but I am wondering why it is that they are saying we NEED to have a flu shot.. Ive never had one and just wondered why it was a requirement.
Athena--- I was told to wait to buy all supplies until after orientation, especially uniforms and books.
So, completely off subject but....would anyone be interested in making a facebook page for our class? The LPN class has one and i think it would be a good way to post articles, news, etc. Just a thought. I'd do it but I dont really know much more than how to navigate around the site!

Yes! That's a lot less! I actually just got my yearly physical a couple of weeks ago(covered by ins.) so he said he would fill the form out with that info for 20$! Yay! Works for me!
