PHCC spring 2012 RN acceptance letters?

Published

:yeah:Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the RN program for PHCC Spring 2012????

Thanks for the clinc info!

kranole---i'm not sure why you didn't receive the packet. I got the packet the same day that I received my letter (they were 2 separate pieces of mail). I would call the school to find out because there is a lot of info in that packet that you will definitely want to have. As for classes, I believe we will know a lot more after we go to orientation. For example, in the packet it told us to not buy uniforms until after orientation. Orientation is 4 hours long so I can only imagine how much more they have to tell us!

Avela--i was asking about anyone living in our area to maybe be able to carpool. I timed it from my house to school and it took 48 min. And i HATE driving! LOL.

btw---i expected many more responses from people who got in!! Theres another 38-40 people out there that are our soon to be classmates! ANYONEEE????? :)

I met a young girl in my CPR class Monday night that got in :-)

justletgo: I do have Microbiology and Lab book. When I get home tonight, I will see if I still have Lifespan. I will post tonight after I look. Are you taking Micro w/ Spazani?

Jennymarie, I would definitely consider carpooling! Less driving for both of us and saving on gas sounds great! My name is Amanda by the way.

At the Pasco County Health Dept. it is as follows: 65 for rubella, 97 for varicella, 23 titers, 47(x3 for total of 141) for hepatitis B, and 75 for a physical. They administer on the Little Rd. office only, and only on Mondays and Tuesdays, and the results are read on a Weds or Thursday. So for everything it's gonna be close to 530 for everything including all three hep B shots.

I wish they would have told me to at least start saving money when I turned in my application....

Wow. That's quite a chunk of money! Do you have to make an appt., or just walk in on those days?

I was just told by a friend of mine, that the CVS on Mariner and Spring Hill Drive does a physical for $35 and flu shot for $25. I will call and verify that... but I hope it is true.

Okay, it is Walgreens, not CVS. As of 10-1-2001, the physical went up to $60. If you look at the link above it will provide a lot of information. They do the 2 step TB test, MMR, TDAP, etc... and they accept insurance. Check it out, it may save some money.

Millsypoo THANK YOU SO MUCH for your offer!!!! I have not yet registered for Micro....did I have to do that already? Also....I am opting to not do the Hep test...it is optional and we will save a lot of money if so AND just to give you all a heads up go to this link.....http://www.informedchoice.info/hepB_aux1.html....and scroll down to Testimony of Marilyn & Lindsay Kirschner...the only reason I know of that link is because my husband had a similar reaction after his first shot and then I demanded him to not go any further after my research.
