PHCC spring 2012 RN acceptance letters?

Published

:yeah:Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the RN program for PHCC Spring 2012????

The only thing I do not have is my flu shot, the other school did not require it.

Good info Jenny, that is great news. How long does it take for you titers to come back? Mine took almost 2 weeks? Or atleast that is how long it took the walk in clinic I went to, to call me with the results.

They told me about a week.....we will see though!

I got in! VERY LATE NOTICE! I think my mailman has something against me.. I can't wait to meet all of you at orientation! Meeting up before hand? Congrats to everyone!

The RN program does not meet in the summer months?? Is that true?

It's SOOOOOO nice to log into WISE and see my major has been changed to nursing!!!!! I turned in my acceptance letter at the campus today. If memory serves, last summer some nursing courses were offered, but I don't believe that all of them were.

Thanks Maza....Jennie due you need to go back in 2 days to check your PPD?

CONGRATS Shay! I probably would have ran down my mailman if he made me wait while I watched everyone else get their letters! LOL...but it was well worth the wait for you!!!!! :)

went to PHCC to turn in my candidate acceptance and confirmation of my attendance at orientation! felt soooo good!!!

Jennifer (justletgo)--Yes, i have to go back to get it checked. I also have to go back to get my blood drawn for the titer. They stuck me 3 times and couldn't get me! :( Sooo annoying! I feel bad for whoever my partner is when we practice on each other (thats what I was told we do!).

Also, from what I understand, we do go to school only fall and spring semesters. But the summer seesions would be a perfect time to finish the other gen ed courses required! :)

maza---where your major was changed, does it say "AS- NGT NURSING (GENERIC TRACK)?" What does ngt stand for?

Ngt stands for nursing generic track.

I think they do it that way so no one gets the RN program and the LPN bridge program confused.

wowwwwww was that a dumb question! LOL...i read it quickly and thought it meant "night". Thanks for clearing that up! :)

Thank you Jenny! Yeah I went in today to turn in the program selection form to the admissions office and I knew I forgot something else.. the orientation form!!! So I guess I'll be back there tomorrow to turn that one in. LOL I asked the woman at the office about the summer term and she said that the only thing they do in summer is the gen ed classes like ENG1 and ethics, theres just no actual nursing classes then.
