Cant we already do the same stuff here? I honestly don't use FB that much so I don't know very much about it. Although it would be cool if the page could be passed to the next fall semester's applicants.

I don't use Facebook either, used to have a page but it just got annoying and I didn't have time for it once school started again. lol

I would definitely be up for meeting before orientation! Lets make it happen! We mine as well start getting to know each other now! Besides, we've all went through the entire process together! No one can appreciate being in this program as much as we can!!!! :)

For anyone interested, maybe we can find a centrally located spot and meet. We could have dinner and shoot the nursing sh... well you know what I mean. lol Im in Port Richey area, but I know some others are further away so, who ever wants in, lets work it out!

I am on the Pasco/ Hernando border, but I work in Port Richey... so really I am pretty neutral as far as meeting goes. Maybe we can shoot for after Thanksgivibng, but before orientation...

I have a question about the drug screen...Does just the proof of payment have to be included in our packet, or do we turn that in early so we can go get our drug screen before Nov 30? I'm confused. It looks likes we just need proof of payment, any thoughts?

I was wondering the same thing about the drug screening. I made a photo copy of it for my packet and kept one to turn in to Quest... They probably forward the results of the drug test directly to the school; however, there is a User name and Password on the order... so maybe we print out our own results and include them in the packet?

Athena: I just found in our RN package.... A sheet titled "New Nursing Student Check- Off List", and on the list #9 is Proof of payment for drug screen (upon receiving proof of payment, the nursing department will give you a form to take to Quest for your drug screen)

So I guess when we turn in our completed packets we will get the paperwork for the test. Atleast that is how I perceived it?
