Ok, she called me back. We can go get our form early if we want (without turning the whole packet in) they just want to have proof that we paid for it by the due date. I'm going to get mine out of the way, since I already paid for it :-)

I as well will turn in my packet next week and get the lab slip. I am all for meeting after Thanksgiving....we will figure the date out but where should we all meet?

I got my lab slip yesterday, the Ladies in the nursing office were very nice. I have an appointment Tuesday for step 1 of my TB test and flu shot, then I will go for the drug screen also that day. Then the following week, I will do step2 of the TB test and my physical and I will be done with everything...

How is everyone making out with their CPR?

I got my CPR in Jan 2011 so I am set for now but will need to retake it Dec 2013 for renewal.

I scheduled my CPR class for the 15th. This Tuesday I'm going for the physical, immunizations, etc. I'm guessing that the health dept also does flu shots as well so I'm gonna be a human pin cushion soon... But pain is temporary and a good career can last as long as you want it to, so its okay. I've already completed the background check, it went much quicker than the paper claims, but I guess that's because I have no record. Maybe I can fit in the drug screen and be done with 99% of it. Maybe.

Does anyone know if we're assigned a clinical site for the whole semester, or do we rotate? If we rotate how long will we be at each location?

I already got my CPR card in the mail and getting the rest done (with the exception of drug screening) on Tues.

My friend is in her second semester of the program, I'll ask her about the rotation and get back with you.

woohooo. So, just completed my CPR class today. The very last thing on my check-list is the drug screen. I called PHCC today to see if the new books came in but they told me that they haven't even been ordered yet and to check back next month.

As for rotations, I am very curious as to how that works also! Hope everyone is doing well! We are getting closerrrr! Believe it or not, I actually miss being in school! LOL. Pathetic huh??

Algebra??? I thought we were done with that. lol Okay so I handed everything in today! All I have to do is get the drug test and she said anytime in the near future would be fine for that and the results will go directly to the school.

I dont know if everyone already got the physicals done but I wanted to let you guys know that the take care clinic at walgreens does physicals for 60, tb for 28-ish.. just in case. I have not done mine yet but I think I will go in on Weds since I dont need an appt.

I know thins prob sounds stupid but we don't have to do any registering tomorrow right? I saw that registration opens tomorrow and I was almost positive that we don't have to register for classes ourselves but I just wanted to double check.

**Athena- I feel you on the algebra thing.. Im in in this semester too and I HATE IT! lol I cannot wait to be done with it!
