PHCC spring 2012 lpn applicants

Hi everyone! Just wondering if there are any other Phcc lpn applicants going crazy out there? The waiting is killing me, and I'm afraid my husband might murder me if I don't stop Freaking out lol. Between stalking the mail carrier and talking about it all the time, he is over it. Can't blame him either. So just looking to see if any others are doing the same.

Oh that price included my tb test as well

RedSox- My packet had a green paper that said all students MUST have a flu shot before starting the program.

I have never had one and have always been against getting them too...guess we have to though.

Oh no I'm at the west campus bcuz of the daycare. I wanted to go to the sh campus bcuz that's only a couple miles from my house, so I guess we wouldn't have the same teacher lol.

redsoxgirl78...I don't usually get them either anymore but when I did and when I do, take advil, if you can for the first 24 hours. Sometimes those things make me feel sick after I get them. and I think you are right about getting in. Thinking since you both had letters dated October 28 that those were the declined spots opened up but mine will be alternate decline or people who otherwise decide they cannot go for other reasons. I spoke with someone from the school and she said get everything ready. She said anything can happen between now and the first day of school and usually with LPN the seats open up for the alternates (like you girls said) and get everything done and lined up ready to go. The GOOD thing is that they are only within 1 pt of my total points and my reading score was 90 so it's close. Although yes, I wish it will be sooner than later. Since I see you guys mentioning praying I'll say in Exodus 14:14 it says "the battle is mine, not yours" and I know that I don't have to WISH it into being, that if it is what is in store for me it will fall into place and happen. That I really have no control and I should stop making myself crazy. But it didn't say anything about not stalking the mail man LOL! :)

I'm going to call Erwin to get the lady to send me my physical and immunization form and see if I can still take advantage of the background check I paid them for to use for PHCC so I'll ask about what clinic it was they refer people to and try to get the price listing. It is in Tampa so I'm not so sure how you would feel about driving but worth checking out to see if you will save money.

I only have one son who is 9. I used to think he was as active as having 3, maybe now I would say like having 2, but I think it just comes with being a boy from what I see watching the other boys at baseball.

Oh and yes, can't concentrate very well either. I'm taking the computer class needed online. Once I get through this class and take Nutrition I'll have my transition pre-reqs done. Will want to re-do the TEAS but that is later. Okay let me get to work. :)

CK73 I text my friend and she did not text me back. But I know there is also the RN board for PHCC on here and they had been talking about where they got all theirs done and how much. Maybe you can visit over there and see what the scoop is? Just a thought!

Thanks Cynthia. I'm actually a stalker on those boards. I go thru the past boards for tips, etc.. I'm going to check out the place RedSox suggested today. Then it's probably between that and the Health Dept. I've got to move on otherwise I can obsess.

I got in!!! Yah!

The clinic my friend went to was sliding income on hillsborough and 22nd. Tampa health. I promise I will call Erwin and get info for other place Monday.

Had just caught mail man on way out had let it all go actually cause I was becoming stressed and it warner fun but its all good now.
