PHCC spring 2012 lpn applicants

Published

Hi everyone! Just wondering if there are any other Phcc lpn applicants going crazy out there? The waiting is killing me, and I'm afraid my husband might murder me if I don't stop Freaking out lol. Between stalking the mail carrier and talking about it all the time, he is over it. Can't blame him either. So just looking to see if any others are doing the same.

CynMar- I got a 73.4 exactly :o

I rounded up to 74 when I posted, because my adjusted "number" with the residency and score formula thing was like 74.7- something like that!! Thus, my guess was that I was basically applying with a score of 74.

However, when I went to pick up my orientation packet I noticed that when she found my name on the list to highlight it, my individual scores were broken down and my reading score was highlighted. I got an 88.1 on that.

Not sure how exactly they are ranking us, but I thought that was odd!

You are surely IN, I bet you get your letter today!!

I don't think they just give you 5 points towards your score. I could be wrong and correct me if I am, but I think that 5% is averaged into your overall ranking score, along with another score- but I can't remember what that is...drawing a blank! If they do just give 5 points then my rank was alot higher than I thought...

They gave a formula to use and I can't find that paper anymore!!

Anyway- It is awesome that we are all moms!! Moms rock and we will all do awesome in this program!

I like the fact they have already added 3 alternates and my score adjusted is 73.72 so I should be close. :)

Yah! This is getting exciting.

Hope the lil one is good.

Okay, I'll keep you all posted!

Oh you are definitely going to be in!! I can't believe how fast they are letting people know, I thought this would all drag out..I am rooting for you!!! :anpom:

And..the little one's fever is gone, just coughing a lot. It's going around!

Springhopeful- You are right... moms rock!

Cynthia - I have my eyes crossed for you. lol And my fingers too.

So, I called my insurance company a couple of weeks ago and they said I was covered for immunizations and I went to my doctor today to give them some info and they told me to call again. So I called again and they said because I was over 18 years of age I am NOT covered. YIKES! So... :anbd: does anyone know where I can get cheap immunizations, etc.? I've gone to Hernando Cty Health Center. It's like $278 for the first round.

When I applied for Erwin they gave out a sheet to a medical clinic. Let me ask my friend the name of the place because it seemed reasonable. I'll facebook her and let you know.

No letter today.

RedSoxGirl78 - when was your letter dated?

Even though I have a good feeling I still feel anxious until I get a letter.

Letting it all go and whatever is supposed to be will be! :)

Cynthia - Sorry no letter today. There is always tomorrow. Thanks for the help on the immunizations. I really appreciate it.

Colleen

Cynmar621 my letter was dated the 28th. Ck73 I know a place that does the titers and physical for 105. If its not through insurance it is half down and you can make payment arrangements on the rest. Let me know and I can send you the phone number. They have an office of cortez and one off county line. I will catch up on the posts after dinner and see if I missed any questions.

Redsoxgirl78 - That would be great. I have some comparison shopping to do now.

Oh and dang skippy moms rock!!!! If only I was this motivated when I was younger, Lmao. Would have been so much easier than balancing 3 kids with all this. Oh well, the time is right to do it now, and we are gonna kick some butt! I so can't wait to meet everyone!!! And Cynmar621 I am saying another prayer tonight. I know you will get it, I just want it to be sooner than later for you.

CK73 the number is 352 683 1982. And you don't have to make an appt plus they are open till 8 most nights I believe.
