  1. Hello cnamarieg! I had the North campus. It was a good program and went quickly. My main complaint was the amount of paperwork. There was way too much. If you are a current LPN working as a nurse at a hospital or ALF, it will be much easier. I wish I could go back and use my LPN skills first, but that's okay. I passed. The schedule - I don't think it's going to matter. From what I understand, they are going to change to a full day the next school year - like 8 to 5. We had classes on M&R 9 to 12 and T&W 630am to 230p (clinicals). But in the beginning it was on Mondays until around 3 for lab. Hope that helps!
  2. That I don't know. I still have my Funds book from the LPN program. I just finished in December. I also still have the Drug Guide and Lab & Diagnostic book - but I have the last edition. I think I'll be okay with those. Test taking techniques book??? I just got out of school. I think I'll be okay. lol. It's really hard to tell, until you've gone to class. I'll probably just rent a few of them.
  3. I'm pretty sure. Some of my old classmates received the West campus schedule. They live in that area. The other old classmate of mine lives nearby me in Spring Hill and she got a North campus schedule... as I did. It's been asked if we could trade, and it was said "maybe" at orientation.
  4. My packet showed North campus schedule.
  5. I was accepted into transition. Everybody that received an acceptance letter that I know received them last Friday or Saturday. One of my friends received her rejection letter today. :-(
  6. I wonder if I can bring coffee? It's way too early in the morning. But I guess I need to get used to it.
  7. I don't think we need anything. I might bring my recorder... just in case. I'll bring a notebook to take notes. I think they might go ahead and do our i.d. cards that day. My regular school i.d.... I was sooo not prepared for it. I need a new one. I have brown hair, 5'9", a bit of weight on me. I would tell you what I was going to wear, but I'm sure I'll change my mind a few times. I will definitely wear flip-flops... or should I? I'm a flip-flop girl. This shoe thing is going to kill me. I'll have a black purse. If there are a lot of people I'll start yelling your name. ha ha.. I don't think there will be that many people for classes at that time of the morning.
  8. Hello. Did you want to meet on Tuesday before orientation? Maybe about ten or fifteen minutes till eight? I was thinking maybe on the bridge because the RN thread are meeting in front of the conference center. I'm nervous yet excited. I mean thing about it. These people are going to be like family for a whole year. It's kind of weird. It's like meeting 35 or however many family members at one time.
  9. I'm really sorry Redsoxgirl78. I'm sure it was a hard decision. When you do get into the program please feel free to contact me (us) for any help or questions.
  10. One more week....until orientation. One more full week of classes. I can't wait.
  11. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
  12. I got it at allheart.com. I compared it with other websites and they have pretty good prices. Plus they engrave. Yeah... orientation!
  13. I got a Littman Classic. It's pretty and personalized with my name.
  14. I feel like I am now blogging. I received my pretty stethescope in.... yeah.
  15. Helloooo? Is anybody out there? lol So, I turned everything in today. I now just have to get my urine tested and then my second chicken pox immunization. Then all will be officially done. Yeah!!!
