I have the Bayonet interview on Tuesday morning at 8am. Jeez, that's early... Had to schedule it at a different time because of my crazy work schedule. I'm glad they worked with me, though! I hope I get the sponsorship either there, or at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills!
BPRMC did call me for an interview, and I will be taking a pass on it. I think there are lots of deserving people who want it more than I do. I really want to be at East, plus I really want a job closer to home (I am not moving my kids out of this 'hood or schools, so that's a deal breaker for me) and it is super far. Anyway. It is an excellent opp for those who want/get it!!

MJ they worked with me as well on the scheduling of the interview my week is Mon-Fri 7-4:30 in Oldsmar I live in Holiday no way could there Mon-Thurs so I'm going tomorrow my Fridays are 7AM-11AM so I can get to them and then Career Central then get my kids. It'll be like hopscotch.
Jenn - I would love to meet up with you guys, but unless some unexpected cash falls in my lap, I don't have the gas or fun $$ to cut loose. Will keep looking though! You can still apply for WIA...which would pay up to $3,500 each year for school...money you don't have to pay back!
Hi Becky!! Glad you made it here...I finally got called up at 5:40pm - 3 hour wait! Luckily, I made it back home for the ballgame, but I still am not 100% sure what's going on with my financial aid. They said it's complete but my file was over being processed for loans, so they couldn't be sure. Yikes! And yes, it seems like everything is "new" this year...like they threw everything out from last year and started everyone fresh!
My WIA caseworker just called and finally has everything she needs! (I'm going through Pinellas, though - and have been working on this since May! - you guys shouldn't have the same issues!) RMCBP is sending over confirmation that I'm in their program, and asking to verify that my WIA is complete/processed/approved - which it is. Whew! Also, I have an email out to my caseworker...specifically asking what pays out, in what order (WIA, Hospital, Pell or Pell, Hospital, WIA)...and what exactly does WIA pay for (tuition, books, test fees, uniforms, supplies, gas cards, etc....I've heard all of these). And what if your "awards" are greater than the total cost of your program? For instance, my co-reqs are done...cuts down on my tuition. Some of the fees on our breakdown of cost sheet, I've paid out-of-pocket...can I get that back? Will keep y'all posted!

good morning.....looking for LPN students....What's in the Lab kit #4? does anyone know the price of the PHCC LPN course manual? and I'm sooooooo excited!!!!
The Kit is supposed to be things that we need for lab. I was told "medical stuff". When I was at campus this week they were not ready yet. I'm down in West Palm until the Sunday before classes start, so I won't be able to get one till after the 23rd. If you get yours early, maybe you can fill me in on what they meant by "medical stuff".
Getting ready to head out of town for a couple days. Hubbys sister needs him to fix her truck. So off to Georgia we go!!!! Great excuse to get away for a couple days anyway!!!
I am way behind on the WIA eventhough I did my interview at the hospital yesterday. When I went to Career Central they first had no clue what I was talking about then they said I had to go to an orientation which is only on Tuesdays I have to work my last two weeks at work with no remainer time off. I even had to show Career Central their paper before they would help me at all they kept telling me they had no clue.
Hubby is going away to Virginia tomorrow for work so it's the last night he's home for maybe three weeks. But maybe another night I'll try to get my sister to babysit my son.
