I decided to start a new thread since the last one has something like 275 comments. It's a tad overwhelming!
Any questions, concerns, comments, etc regarding Pasco-Hernando Community College's programs? This is your thread:nurse:
We have decided on a meeting time and place. Here are the details:
When: Saturday evening, July 17, 7pm til whenever.
Where: Brass Tap in Wiregrass
Why: Faces to usernames :) lol--Seriously, won't it be great to meet the people who have been stressing out with us for the past several months?

Jenn! I would be glad to go halvsies with you on the manual. Really, we could get a boatload of people to do it. How long is the course handbook? I have yet to hear from Bayonet Pointe yesterday or today after putting my name on the sheet at orientation. Anyone have a number they can send me so I can harass them?
Hey guys! I'm at the WIA office right now handing in my HS diploma... they have us running around with all this paperwork. If anyone needs any info about the interview process pm me and I'll try to help!
MJ, that sucks but maybe PHCC will be understanding and give you time to pay the fees. Didn't they say everyone has until August 23rd as the absolute deadline? I thought that's what Billie said at orientation or was it Laura Kelly. Maybe I'm wrong and it was about other stuff? Well goodluck!! It would be really cool if we were in classes together! :)

Yaz, thanks for posting that about the HS diploma. I hadn't heard anything from Career Central so I called and she needs mine too! Now I have to dig through all the boxes in the garage to find out which one it's in... ugh!
MJ, I do think if you let them know you are waiting on the sponsorship they said they can re-enroll you after the 10th, it's just that they have to do it for you. The other thing you can probably do is apply for a deferrment through the financial aid office. Hope this helps!
I might be going out of town this weekend, but if not I am definitely down for the meetup too!

Hey everyone,
I just spent 3 hrs in financial aid for them to tell me that my Pell hasnt shown up because they need to verify my taxes. Last year my Pell went right in , no problem. I think they're trying to drive me crazy this year.
And this morning I had to email a copy of my diploma to WIA. I thought we were supposed to relax for the rest of the summer??
Well, at least I found the right place on here!!

Are you buying the book package from the bookstore because of finaid, sponsorship or convenience? If so, I would like to buy the three ebooks off you. These are an extra computer copy of your books, so if you will be using your print books and don't need the second computer copy, send me a PM.
