Same here! Ordered my background check a few minutes ago. I hope it comes back fairly quick - I just did one last month for another school (totally different company - more money out the window!) so if they all "share" a database, it should be fairly fresh. That should be the last of it from the packet...
And that should be it until Orientation...when I'm sure they'll give us more to stress about!
I found the background check to be very quick. I ordered mine on a Thursday evening and had results the following Tuesday morning (business day wise that was very fast!).
I am reading. Not a ton, and probably more like skimming :) But I take my books out every day. Yes, I am a huge dork!
My uniforms have not gotten any cuter or more comfy, sadly. lol
I have worked out childcare for my kids for Tuesday. I am super excited!
Is your credit ran as well? It mentioned something about FDCPA and disputing items on your credit report.
Now to find a way to my Dr tomorrow .....My van died today and our car will be fixed next week. My doctor would n't sign any papers until I came back in to review labs.

No on the credit report. WTH? I did not even notice that mentioned--perhaps I am just not very aware. lol--I just know they found nothing on what was searched and the addresses listed went back to when I was 18 and living in the dorm at USF...ha ha ha, so funny.

I have my physical and immunizations this Friday at 8 a.m., and am taking the BLS class on Saturday (my birthday, of all days)...but I suppose that is what procrastination delivers.
I did my background check a couple of weeks ago, and all is good there.
I have a question, though, isn't the Tetorifice the immunization they are taking our word on? I am too lazy to break everything out, because I am leaving for class in half an hour. I told the doc I only needed the MMR, Varicella, and PPD.....hmmmm....damnit. Maybe it was Polio that they took our word on
Anywho, I have to wait until the Pell opens to get my books and such. Unfortunately, because our course is only 10 credit hours, the Pell is only a little over 2000....and I don't think that is going to cover everything. Who knows; I'm not sweating it.
I am getting excited, though. I'm looking forward to having almost three weeks off from school after the next two classes of Comp II. Phew, can't wait.

Ok so I had to play chess with my life between last night and today but it is all good now, well in a few when I can s/w my manager re leaving 15 minutes early for Dr appt. Get my physical paperwork back today at it to my pile and mark off my checklist
just noticed the sheet said we need bloodwork and then in a separate part of the sentence it says titers/immunizations. what bloodwork are they referring to??

Alicia, you don't need a urinalysis or any bloodwork, just proof of immunity if you do titers. Just what's on the physical form is all that is needed. Friends of mine called the Nursing Dept. to verify that a urinalysis was not needed.
I got my tetorifice shot on Monday and I now have a bad fever and am so sore Had to call out of work today... I still need to get my physical done, but I will do that this weekend at a Doctors Walk In Clinic for $20. Probably better to get a health physical when I'm not burning up, right?
