PHCC Fall 2013 hopefuls

Published

Just wanted to see who all is applying for any program in the fall.

I'm going to be applying for the generic RN and LPN program for backup.

Also, when you do your drug test go to the Quest website (after paying for the test per the instructions in the packet) and schedule an appointment for your test at your chosen location. When I did the drug test a couple years ago I didn't make an appointment, I was there for hours (not much fun when your dying to use the restroom ). Today I went in with an appointment, I was done in 15 minutes .

I found one on County Line road close to my house. Thanks for the heads up about drug screening I will be heading to Campus to pick up the paperwork to take the test.

Hello, Just from what I can gather from following this thread and I may be wrong. It seems that the acceptance letters sent out have been for transition and LPN programs. I haven't seen anyone post that they received an acceptance letter for the generic RN program as of yet.

When you go to get the drug screen paperwork make sure you take the orientation paper too. It's in the packet, it says something about you will be attending orientation etc. I gave them the confirmation of payment I printed out so I could get the form to take to Quest and the lady says I've got to give her the orientation paper first... good thing I had it with me.

I seen some acceptance to the RN generic program

I know me and my friend Michelle got accepted into the RN Generic program. We got our letters and packets on Friday.

Still nothing?? Has anyone received denial letters ? Are they gonna make us wait until the others accept or reject a program?? If so we won't hear for at least a couple more weeks..

A friend of mine who applied for all three got one acceptance letter and two denial letters in the same envelope. So I would assume those were the only denial letters sent out. I would think they would not send out any denial letters until they fill the slots that get turned in. I know that I am turning in two LPN slots on Thursday.

I received my acceptance letter for generic RN

I was also accepted to the RN program:)

Those who have received packets do you have to have all your shot records and drug testing when you accept your seat? Or do you just have to have it before classes start? I am so nervous I won't have enough time by the time I receive a letter lol.

We have to accept the seat by Jul 3rd and turn in are packet with everything done by Jul 18th. Hopefully those who get theirs late will get more time or at least the same amount of time as we did.

Thanks so much DawnLongnecker! Hope we all hear something soon.
