  1. I was told you have to apply to both campuses for LPN because one is days and one is evenings. So I applied for the RN and both LPN.
  2. I just finished my BLS class today and should have my card next week. I was just at WC and registration is closed until 8 Jul. I went to my regular doctor for my Physical but went to Care One on County Line road for my PPD. I know that the Health Dept does immunizations but they do not do PPD. My doctors office does physicals for anyone without ins for $27 and Care One does the PPD for $15. Not sure of the prices for any immunizations that you might need.
  3. I just turned in my rejections for LPN at North and West Campus. So hopefully you will hear something soon.
  4. Has anyone taken the CPR class at PHCC? Is there an online class we are supposed to take prior to the in-class portion? If so, do you know how to find it cause I have looked everywhere and can't find it and I am scheduled to take the in-class portion on Monday.
  5. I used the Teas V book and I also found on Groupon and deal on BenchPrep for $25 that gave you four practice tests and study questions. It helped me increase mine by 4% and would of been more if I wasn't taking 5 classes. I believe my 4.0 is what saved me. So If you don't have atleast a 3.8 or better I would make sure that you have a Teas score of at least 80.
  6. Has anyone done the PHCC CPR class? Do you know if the online portion is done the same day as the in-class portion? I registered for the class and tried going to the link that was in wise for the online portion and I keep getting an error.
  7. I found out today that there was over 200 applicants for the RN program.
  8. We have to accept the seat by Jul 3rd and turn in are packet with everything done by Jul 18th. Hopefully those who get theirs late will get more time or at least the same amount of time as we did.
  9. A friend of mine who applied for all three got one acceptance letter and two denial letters in the same envelope. So I would assume those were the only denial letters sent out. I would think they would not send out any denial letters until they fill the slots that get turned in. I know that I am turning in two LPN slots on Thursday.
  10. I know me and my friend Michelle got accepted into the RN Generic program. We got our letters and packets on Friday.
  11. I found one on County Line road close to my house. Thanks for the heads up about drug screening I will be heading to Campus to pick up the paperwork to take the test.
  12. Where is Care One?
  13. Orientation for RN is 29 Jul and I think LPN is 30 Jul from 9-12
  14. Okay, those who have your packets and are working on them if you live in Hernando County you can get your immunizations at the Health Department. They will do a PPD screen but only give it to you if you meet there requirement which is basically not any of us. I called PHCC to see what they want us to do and she said that we could just get a chest xray that checks for PPD with report and that will suffice. They also do not do physicals which is weird but I heard pasco county does them (not sure if that is true). I know my doctor's office will do them and they are not that expensive....596-1770. For those waiting still...I hope you get your letters real soon.
  15. Anyone who lives in Hernando County or is willing to drive to Hernando County this is some information I want to share. Hernando County Health Department will NOT do PPD but WILL give you a letter stating you passed the requirements not to have one. I called PHCC and they told me if you cannot get an actual PPD then you need to have a chest x-ray. Also, I did ask about immunizations and they do them there at the Health Dept. Anyone who needs a physical and does not have insurance. Try calling my doctors office at 596-1770 I was told they will do school physicals for $27 (that does not include immunizations or bloodwork).
