Anyone here worked at PGH before? Looks like they're hiring. While waiting out the retrogression, might as well, right?

Hello. Can someone confirm this:
I heard that the training schedule for the 6 mons. training would be 8 hrs. but, only has 1 shifting schedule which would start from 8 am to 4 pm. And mondays to fridays only???
If this is true, then in case i would be in i still have time to do a part time job as an call center agent.

girl, the dnrd just announced that they will not entertain applicants for now because the manpower pool is on its peak hence.. sad.. but if you really want to pursue PGH, you'll have to wait or probably finish a 1-2 year contract in another hospital before they call you for appointment of job... i took the exam at September 2008, got the result at November 2008 and had the panel interview last january 2009.. i passed the interview already and i am waiting for pgh to call me for the much awaited final interview.. but now, i just feel like forgetting it. it is like my impossible dream. but we can always wait. anyway, patience is a virtue.

really xfactor girl? Oh know.. I'm loosing hope already... I just came from my school yesterday to furnished my dean's form.. And now the bad new came... I just thought that maybe they will still going to accept my envelope as a walk-in applicant.. and now I'm disheartened by what you've told me.. Oh God Help us..
uhmm.. actually ms. cathy, they don't like walk-in applicants. you know, it's not like the other hospitals where you will knock at the Nursing Office and say, Ma'am, i would like t apply. Here's my resume.. it's not like that. at pgh, you have to wait for their announcement ONLINE. they're very strict when it comes to rules and regulations. they prefer ONLINE inquiries rather that walk-in or phone-in inquiry. and if you'll decide to call, you have to practice phone courtesy.. well, i think it makes sense. let's just wait.. don't worry, for those who are not connected with the pgh's yahoo group, i'll announce it here if they will accept applicants already.. let's not lose hope.. for the meantime, let's try exploring other fields of nursing.. oh and by the way, i can't post URL here. maybe it's better if you'll open google/yahoo and type dnrd or PGH..
xfactorgirl... I'am now a member of PGH yahoo group..well maybe I'll just hang first my application near the trash can.. LOL. haha. thanks for the reply.. hope that PGH will call you soon.. God Bless..

I sent an email to those who inquired about the PGH-DNRD' URL. Best of luck to all aspiring PGH nurses!

For those interested to get the URL, send me a message and I will reply with the link. I believe gambutrol knows the link too since he is currently employed at PGH. I just got the link from sir chiongban.Good luck to all of us! Patience really pays off! Move forward dear colleagues!
