Most Expensive Nursing School in the Philippines?
hmmm... if you want quality nursing educatons.. actually there are lots of schools there offering quality education... of course you have to consider your location in choosing your school... im a graduate of de la salle-health sciences institute. my tuition fee when i was in 4th year college was 75 thousand but it already has increased. i think it's 80 thousand already but all the books, 1 pair of lecture and duty uniforms are inclusive plus if your duty is outside de la salle university medical center, you have no problem going there because there are school services.. when it comes to quality education thing, i can assure you that it can satisfy you. last June 2008 Board exam, we ranked 3rd on the Top Performing Nurisng schools in the Philippines. you can google it. other schools' tuition are like 50 thousand, but you still have to buy your books and other stuffs.. not so convinient.. well, i hope my suggestion helped you somehow.. you can still look at other schools..

uhmm.. actually ms. cathy, they don't like walk-in applicants. you know, it's not like the other hospitals where you will knock at the Nursing Office and say, Ma'am, i would like t apply. Here's my resume.. it's not like that. at pgh, you have to wait for their announcement ONLINE. they're very strict when it comes to rules and regulations. they prefer ONLINE inquiries rather that walk-in or phone-in inquiry. and if you'll decide to call, you have to practice phone courtesy.. well, i think it makes sense. let's just wait.. don't worry, for those who are not connected with the pgh's yahoo group, i'll announce it here if they will accept applicants already.. let's not lose hope.. for the meantime, let's try exploring other fields of nursing.. oh and by the way, i can't post URL here. maybe it's better if you'll open google/yahoo and type dnrd or PGH..

PGH feedback
girl, the dnrd just announced that they will not entertain applicants for now because the manpower pool is on its peak hence.. sad.. but if you really want to pursue PGH, you'll have to wait or probably finish a 1-2 year contract in another hospital before they call you for appointment of job... i took the exam at September 2008, got the result at November 2008 and had the panel interview last january 2009.. i passed the interview already and i am waiting for pgh to call me for the much awaited final interview.. but now, i just feel like forgetting it. it is like my impossible dream. but we can always wait. anyway, patience is a virtue.

i dont think they're entertaining online applications. what they want interested applicants to do is to join the yahoo group and just wait for their notice.. there, you will see the requirements you need to prepare and they will announce the date of submission.. they don't like applicants roaming around DNRD or the nursing service.they just want us to follow rules strictly. .. i hope this helps you..

Most Expensive Nursing School in the Philippines?
i'm from DLSU and i can say, our tuition costs too much.. as you progress from 1st year to fourth year, your tuition fee progresses too.. hehe... for the graduating batch (Batch 2009), they paid P80,000 for the two semesters..i think this is too much.. i think it doesn't depend on how much you pay, it will depend on the student. i applied at the Philippine General Hospital and there, i met different applicants from different schools and they're great.. La Salle is a good school. but there are other good schools too... try UST or if you can, try UP.. FEU is good too.. Edited by traumarus: Only English please. Thanks.
