How is the best way to do peri care on men ?

Soap and water using a wash cloth. This is very basic care to all levels of nursing that 99.999% of the posters on this site would know. Why would you ask, so we might hone in on your question better.

Front to back ALWAYS for EVERYONE.
People should be washed top down, front to back.

I would say the best way to do it is Basic nurses aid101- be professional and do it. good golly......

If i'm not mistaken, front to back is always a good policy. However; if a catheter is involved cleansing needs to be from the head down the tube, being sure not to take bacteria up the catheter into the bladder.

Always make sure if the male has foreskin to pull it back to clean, then ALWAYS pull it back down!! I've already seen a man's member turn dark purple because the aide pulled the foreskin back to far and forgot to pull it back down. Basically it got "stuck" and we had a hard time getting it pulled back down. I don't have to tell you that it was VERY painful for the patient!!
