Pearsonvue Trick-Latest February 2016

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my NCLEX RN exam last February 10, 2016 and ended at 210 questions. I did the PVT after 4 hours using my ACTIVE debit card with invalid expiration date(putting all the information &submit), I got the "bad pop up"- telling me to put the correct information.

Then after 24 hours, I tried PVT again using my EXPIRED debit card with invalid expiration date & the result was my payment went through and I even got an email - Acknowledgement of Receipt of NCLEX Exam Registration. (wondering how it went through using a expired debit card-closed account)

Question is if I pass or fail? Can anyone enlighten me please? Does anyone experience this, charging a expired debit card? Thank you.

Hey How long did it take for them to unlock your pearson view account? What do you mean by restricted? Do people get in trouble now from the pearson view trick?

I called pearsonvue and told them what happened, told me about the payment issue in using invalid card though its not my fault who will think my payment went through which suppose to tell "use a valid card to pay"... Or " incorrect information"... Anyway, I ended up paying using a valid card and was able to access my account online and schedule for another exam. I got my result in the mail a week after this issue and failed as expected! í ½í¸¢

Hi. Just curious. What state are you all in? I'm in Texas and I know a lady personally who took NCLEX 2 weeks ago, did the PVT after the test, the day after and later that night using a VALID card and got the bad pop up. She then did the quick results after 48 hrs and she passed. So I'm wondering if this varies by state. Word around here is that it is no longer as accurate because PV is now aware of the all to famous PVT.

I took my test yesterday AGAIN UGH. While I am hopedul, I do not have a good feeling about it. Tried PVT last night with a card with no money on it (because I can not afford to give up $200 right now) and it said something like...contact bank funds not available.

I will check Tx BON today but it my understanding from older posts tbat they only upday on Tues & Thurs.

SIGH :nailbiting: I just have to wait.

Thank you for the added information about the resources you used. I also looked for that within most of the posts. If I didnt pass this time I will use NCSBN. I think that's what I need more questions. I have heard from a few people that it has great q banks.

pvt trick works. I checked mine as soon as i got to the parking lot and i got the good pop up, checked it all 48 hrs because it was the only thing that calmed my nerves, quick results says I passed. I used the trick in 2011 for my LVN it worked used it again 2/10/16 and it worked.

also i always liked for people to include this info when i was reading the other threads so,

i used kaplan and hurst and ncsbn

after taking the test i realized that ncsbn was not helpful but i like doing practice questions so that was one nice thing about it

do q trainer 6 and 7

i did 6 but not 7, i was mentally exhausted from studying

also remember this every sata does not have to have 3 correct choices for some reason ive always been hung up on picking 3 idk why but kaplan showed me thats not always the case so i think that in general really helped

okay so i took the test in 45 mins and got 75 questions

ive always been a quick test taker, so when i told my classmates that they weren't surprised.

i stopped counting how many satas i had at the beginning of the exam which was 7, i got pissed off at how many i was getting and the back to back nature in which they were coming lol i know i got many many more satas tho which kinda made me feel good to be honest i thought hey maybe im getting these bad boys correct.

study hard and you will pass

God Bless

They check card validity randomly which yields a bad pop up. Same if you attempted to buy more gas than you had money on the card

I'm in California. I've heard the PVT doesn't work if you have the option to do quick results. Your supposed to wait 24-48 hours to do the PVT. California doesn't have the option to do quick results and some other states

THE TRICK IS NOT ACCURATE. Putting this out there because I read all these posts before my quick results and it resulted in the most miserable 48 hours of my life.

Personal exprience: Took the NCLEX for the second time on Monday, 4/11/16. Was sure I failed when it shut off at 75. Did the PVT immediately after, then 2 hours after, then 4 hours after. DID NOT GET ANY POP UP any of the times. Then waited the 24 hrs to try again hoping that they were still scoring. Again, NO POP UP after 24 hrs. I went all the way through putting in and submitting my card info (but did not click the final "confirm" so I was not charged).

This morning, 4/13/16, I paid for the quick results just to confirm what I already knew from the trick telling me that I failed, but was shocked when it said PASS.

I am assuming that Pearson Vue has gotten smart over the last year or so and it trying to eliminate the pop-up altogether so that people keep making non-refundable $200 payments, even if they don't need to.

Just wanted to share my own experience because these posts swear by this trick, but don't have too much faith in them. Did not work for me and I still passed.

If you don't submit payment and risk $200 you didn't do the trick right. After 24hrs it often lets you pay if you allegedly failed and allegedly won't let you pay if you passed.

I have to share my experience. I believe the trick works. I am in NY and have had to take the test twice. The first time, I came out of the test and about an hour later attempted the PVT. I put in my credit card information, and it went through and charged me. 48 hours later, I received my quick results, and sure enough I failed.

2nd time I took the test, the test shut off in 75 questions. To some they would be happy, but after my first experience of failing, I freaked out wondering if it could mean that I failed. I came out of the test, and sat in my car attempting the PVT trick. First time I put my card in, I got a message that states "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time." This meant NOTHING. I got the same for the failed NCLEX exam on the first attempt. It just means you are checking too soon and they have not updated their system to reflect an NCLEX exam completions. An hour later, I attempted again, put my card in, hit the submit, and received the following message: "Our records indicate that YOU have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." This is the message that indicates that they have a COMPLETED NCLEX EXAM on file and that is why they will not allow you to go further. This is the "GOOD" pop up. It has to be directed at YOU instead of "the candidate". It means the NCLEX info has been processed and probably transmitted.

I know people say that they were charged and later passed, and I truly do not doubt that. I used a VISA debit card that is no longer active and I can tell you that I did not get a declined message or anything. It went straight to the above message. I believe that the trick does work most of the time.

Just to add to the conversation...I just took the NCLEX today at 8am. I checked at 2pm and got the good pop up:"Our records indicate that YOU have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I still plan on doing the quick results and I will update when I get them! Good luck everybody!

Update - I passed!!! Checked Quick Results at 9am today (5/6). So the PVT worked for me!
