Pearsonvue Trick-Latest February 2016

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my NCLEX RN exam last February 10, 2016 and ended at 210 questions. I did the PVT after 4 hours using my ACTIVE debit card with invalid expiration date(putting all the information &submit), I got the "bad pop up"- telling me to put the correct information.

Then after 24 hours, I tried PVT again using my EXPIRED debit card with invalid expiration date & the result was my payment went through and I even got an email - Acknowledgement of Receipt of NCLEX Exam Registration. (wondering how it went through using a expired debit card-closed account)

Question is if I pass or fail? Can anyone enlighten me please? Does anyone experience this, charging a expired debit card? Thank you.

PVT works! Took it on the 15th. Check the PVT an hour, 8 hours and 24 hours after the exam and it was the good pop up. Paid for the quick results on the 17th and passed!! Computer shut off at 75 questions, thought I failed but I passed!

Advanced practice schools, I.e. CRNA, will consider the number of nclex attempts for admission. Along with other factors such as GRE scores and attempts on CCRN exam. Jobs don't care nor ask, but if you wanna do advanced practice one day, you wanna try to pass things on the first try.

How would they know you attempted the NCLEX more than once? I've been accepted into four advanced practice programs and was never asked how many times I took the NCLEX. All I had to do was provide proof of RN licensure.

I think the BONs usually have records that show when schools pull your licensure history?

I took the test today (4th time), and got 254 questions in 4 hours. Did the PVT when I got home and got the good pop up! I don't want to get too excited, but I just feel like I passed. I can't wait to see my official results!

I took mine today at 8am (EST) and I'm freaking out! I keep hearing that the PVT is not as reliable as it used to be...? I got the good pop up thus far, but not sure how much faith to have in it. Any thoughts?? I thought the test was very hard. It shut of at 107. Don't know what to think right now...í ½í¸

Try your PVT trick again after 24 hours! I've done mine 4 times now, 1 hour post test, 6, 12, and 24. I'm still getting good pop up!

I took my test 2/19 and still haven't heard anything from the BRN. I tried the "pop up" trick about an hr and a half after I finished the test and got the "bad pop up". I live in CA so it's just a waiting game right now to get the mail. No license number yet and I have pretty much given up hope because all of my classmates are finding out they passed (even if they took it after me). I called the BRN yesterday and they have my transcripts and fingerprint so I'm cleared by them. I asked him what the procedures are if you fail. He asked me when i took the test and i told him. We talked about the procedure if you fail for a couple of minutes. At the end of the conversation he said something like "don't lose hope yet. The process could take up to 4 weeks" In my mind that makes me think he didn't see my results yet. But like I said my transcripts are in so i don't understand what the hold up is.

My questions to you guys are:

1) Is there still hope I may have passed?

2) How do you start to reapply? Do you have to wait for the mail? Is there anything on breeze that would change or signify that you failed? I know it'll have your licence if you pass, but is the only way you know you for sure 100% failed the letter in the mail?

Thanks for all your help. Good luck to everyone.

When you say "bad pop-up", you mean you got charged/attempted to be charged, correct..? To do the trick you actually have to submit payment info and risk the $200

I put in the wrong cc info (the right 16 digit #, wrong exp. date, and wrong CVP #) and got charged. I did this an hr and a half (estimate) after I finished the test. Haven't tried again. I feel like I should have waited 24 hours to be sure, but I honestly didn't know.

You can't try again if a charge went through. You can only wait for the state to post

Do you know if anything on Breeze will change if you failed? And I know there is no rhyme or reason to when they post things, but it seems to me because all my classmates are getting their results and the BRN told me my transcripts and fingerprints are in etc that I failed. The only weird thing was the BRN rep told me to not lose hope and it can take up to 4 weeks. So I don't know if he can see if a person fails or not but if he can he wasn't very nice to give me false hope.

I haven't done the trick since I tried an hr and a half after my test and I don't plan on doing the trick if I have to take it again.

Hey How long did it take for them to unlock your pearson view account? What do you mean by restricted? Do people get in trouble now from the pearson view trick?
