I took my NCLEX RN exam last February 10, 2016 and ended at 210 questions. I did the PVT after 4 hours using my ACTIVE debit card with invalid expiration date(putting all the information &submit), I got the "bad pop up"- telling me to put the correct information.
Then after 24 hours, I tried PVT again using my EXPIRED debit card with invalid expiration date & the result was my payment went through and I even got an email - Acknowledgement of Receipt of NCLEX Exam Registration. (wondering how it went through using a expired debit card-closed account)
Question is if I pass or fail? Can anyone enlighten me please? Does anyone experience this, charging a expired debit card? Thank you.
For latest update as of February 15, 2016, Pearsonvue restricted my account online because of the invalid card I used that my payment went through... I guess that's what pearsonvue trick does, take your money and walahhh you failed!... & I failed my test! And after Pearsonvue figured it out, will give you restriction. Anyway, to all of you who still want to do the PVT, be careful and my advise is to wait for the quick result or check your Board of Nursing, that way its more accurate. Lesson learned! :)

did they sent you the cpr already?
pvt trick works. I checked mine as soon as i got to the parking lot and i got the good pop up, checked it all 48 hrs because it was the only thing that calmed my nerves, quick results says I passed. I used the trick in 2011 for my LVN it worked used it again 2/10/16 and it worked.
also i always liked for people to include this info when i was reading the other threads so,
i used kaplan and hurst and ncsbn
after taking the test i realized that ncsbn was not helpful but i like doing practice questions so that was one nice thing about it
do q trainer 6 and 7
i did 6 but not 7, i was mentally exhausted from studying
also remember this every sata does not have to have 3 correct choices for some reason ive always been hung up on picking 3 idk why but kaplan showed me thats not always the case so i think that in general really helped
okay so i took the test in 45 mins and got 75 questions
ive always been a quick test taker, so when i told my classmates that they weren't surprised.
i stopped counting how many satas i had at the beginning of the exam which was 7, i got pissed off at how many i was getting and the back to back nature in which they were coming lol i know i got many many more satas tho which kinda made me feel good to be honest i thought hey maybe im getting these bad boys correct.
study hard and you will pass
God Bless
What did you do differently the 2nd go round?
Here is my experience with the "PVT" I took the NCLEX last year and 4 hours later did the PVT with a good ($3 left) VISA gift card. I got the bad "Your card was declined" contact your bank.....Sure enough the next day "Fail"Took it again Friday and within an hour of the exam, I got the good pop-up and 24 hours later, and low and behold today.......
CONGRATS!
I took my exam 02/16/2016 from 0900-10:30. I feel very confident that I passed. The PVT trick gave me the good pop-up. But my quick results are not available yet, even though they sent me an email after the exam to pay for it. lol
How long did it take for ur results to appear on quick results??? also my SBON status is pending. This is soo nerve wrecking

It takes exactly 48 hours from the time you started your exam for the quick results to post.

Nope, it took longer for me. Mine and a couple of other people who took it starting at 8am were not available until after 9am 2 days later. Keep checking back!
I asked the question here: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/pv-quick-results-1034065.html so you can see others' replies who had the same experience.
