Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

You took the test yesterday and found out today? How do you "look" up your name on the BON?

Nclex RN 75 ? kaplan and hurst

Got good pop up from pearson vue..checked results today and passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nclex rn 75 questions, gpu, hurst and kaplan

It took me 3 tries to pass NCLEX. The first time I took it, I got around 250 questions and failed. The second time I got around 80 questions and failed. Recently after taking Hurst (excellent, excellent program) I passed with 90 questions. However, I have to tell you that when I walked out on the third time, I cried because I felt I did worse on the test than the 2 times previously. I think it depends on the types of questions you get, not how many you get.

Hello fellow allnurses.com users! Yesterday after I took the boards I was feeling defeated... it was really hard and I know that you ALL know what I mean... so I got on here searching for support and ran across the pearson vue "trick" thread... I read and read and of course I tried it (out of curiosity) I got the "good" pop up but gosh darn it... I just took the test yesterday and I am petrified that I failed! I was comforted to know how many of you took the boards a second time and some thirds and fourths... I admire the fortitude!

I wanted to start this thread to condense the "pvt" posts into a results based thread... I thought in the subject line we could put which test nclexrn nclexpn nclexlpn etc... then a P or F for pass or fail or ? (if awaiting results) pvt (GPU or BPU for good pop up or bad pop up) and K R A (for Kaplan, Rayfield ATI reviews) which one ya did... then in your post add anything about your experience with nclex or reviews or the pearson vue trick or just basic support for each other... we all need that!

I think it will be interesting to see what worked... what didn't ... I am so freaked out waiting for the results and I really don't know if I wanna do the quick results!

GOOD luck to all who await and congrats to those who passed... if you failed keep going for it and don't stop till you get there! :nurse: medical.png

Merged with existing thread as we prefer to keep all things regarding pearsonvue together. What I have done is added a poll to the thread where members can select good or bad pop up

Sooo sad, did the PVT today after taking my NCLEX-PN yesterday and got the cc page. This was my 2nd attempt. I used Saunders, Kaplan, Exam Cram review books and cd's but didn't really finish them all. I guess im taking this test too lightly and should really start to buckle down and study. I need some work on my test taking skills. In school, I was a B average student. I ended the second attempt after the 5 hour time limit at 144 q's. I believe I was doin well taking my time but I probably went too slow to where I didn't prove the 95% competency with my last 60 q's. Oh, I ended my first try at 85 and failed. Any study tips, good review classes to take or positive comments are welcome. Don't really know what to do right now as this test is the only thing holding me back from my career..

CONGRATULATIONS! to everyone that passed...

I took my exam in CA on 5/15 and i tried the PVT and i got a good pop up..Im getting really nervous because i still dont see my name on the CA BRN..Anybody here waited for few weeks and didn't see their names on the website but still passed?

I took mine on 5/13 and I am still waiting. My name is not on BRN website. I called the BRN last thursday and they had never received my transcripts. MY school sent them in november...so I had them sent again last thursday and I keep calling everyday and since yesterday @ 1420 they still do not have my transcripts...seriously? How long does it take to open some mail? My RN IP is going to expire in like a week and a half and I need to see my name on the BRN or I cant go to work. :(

Yes, I have been looking at the BRN everyday and nothing. What am I suppose to see if I fail?

i've been checking my name on the website everyday but nothing..i guess sometimes if you pass you get your mail first before you see your name online...that's what i read from somebody's post and that's what i hope...we are in the same page please keep me posted and i let you posted as well...
