Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I took my test on Feb 17, 2010, and I did the trick and it worked for me. On Tuesday, 6 days later I went on the California BRN site and my name with my license number was there. Also, does anybody else think that the Kaplan review was a waste of TIME!!!!!! I did, I didn't think it helped me one bit. Also I took all 265 questions. Don't be discouraged if this happened to you. You can still pass.
I took the exam 2-22. I had never heard of the trick until getting on this website. Enjoyed all the post from people waiting because i realized that I was not alone in my agony. I finally figured out how to do the trick, did it and got the good pop up, a few hours later got my results, and i had passed. good luck to everyone who is waiting. i think the trick does work.:)
I took nclex on 2/24. Maryland BON says "passed exam---completed". Does this mean I passed? Quick result is not available yet. I also got a good pop up. I want to believe I passed.....
I took mine same day :) thats what the Maryland BON showed for me, and I wasnt sure enough so I paid for quick results and sure enough, passed! The BON still shows my license as pending due to them checking backgrounds and such but the test is over!
This is insane! It seriously needs to be illegal to withhold testing results when they are known. I think that I would seriously pay 100 bucks just to have my results. My heart feels so heavy and I think that I slept only a couple of hours last night. I took the exam yesterday at 8am and was completed about 1.5 hours later. I had 75 of the oddest questions and felt like I only knew half of them. I did the PVT (not kidding...about 20 times:lol2:) and it does not let me get to the cc page. That is good right. I am so afraid that I am going to be an exception to the trick. I will be very disappointed if I do not pass the NCLEX, but I will be even more disappointed in the fact that I don't feel that -that test proved anything. Ask me what would I do if someone was having a heart attack, ask me pertinent information. Now, I am getting negative, sorry. I just don't know how you can prove yourself with 75 questions.
So my questions are
Does anyone else feel the same.
PVT- does it work
Has anyone gotten their "quick results" sooner than 48 hours?
Thanks to all
SkeesB, I know how you feel. I am, I think, a few minutes away from knowing ( I took the test at about 10:30am on the 25th of Feb) my fate. It would not be the end of the world, but I would be dissapointed if I failed. As you said, I left feeling confused about what the test was really trying to achieve; especially asking about rarely used medications/ rarely thought. If they need to send a message, talk directly with the nursing schools-don't play with my life.
Hang in there.:hotchocolate:
i take mine this tuesday and i swear to myself i am not going to do this "trick" .. but i know myself better than that... so i would like to know... how exactly do i try and register again ? i live in a quick results state so i am going to pay the 7.95 to get them in 48 hours ... but how does this trick work .. what do i need to do ... in case i cant bring myself to wait any longer ? :)
Your results are known as soon as the computer shuts off. However, the testing center does not have the legal right to let you know them, as your RN license is conferred by the board of nursing in the state where you took the NCLEX.
No offense, folks, but in the "olden days", meaning back when I took my State Board Exam (it wasn't the NCLEX in the '70s), you could only take the exam twice a year. I took mine in July and didn't find out my results, via regular mail, until September. We must have been made of sturdier stuff back then!

PLEASE ADD ME TO THE ''GOOD POP-UP= TRICK WORKS!" TODAY, FEBRUARY 26TH, I GOT THE BIG WHITE ENVELOPE WITH THE WORD PASSED BESIDE MY NAME!
DON'T DOUBT THIS "TRICK." GOOD LUCK TO THOSE STILL WAITING. AND TO THOSE THAT GOT UP TO THE CC PAGE, DON'T BE DISCOURAGED, DON'T GIVE UP!
Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresea, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. ~Life's Little Instruction Book, compiled by H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
