  1. Thanks guys !! Not getting excited till i see it on the screen !! was it too soon to check though i wonder ? ... i waited till the end of my 6 hour block and i just checked again ... hehe...same pop up .. " contact your member board our records indicate you have already registered" ... yay ... i think i am just happy the test is over.. waiting is horrible itself though too !!!!! Definitely know safety precautions future NCLEXERS !!!!
  2. soooooooooo i just took mine this afternoon .... got home several hours later... went logged in and went to register and it popped up saying our records indicate you have already registered please contact your board of nursing.. thats the good pop up right ? :)
  3. took mine today !! got 190 Q's !!!! feelin ok about it ... just waiting it out tho ... good luck everyone !!!!!!!
  4. Thank you everyone !! :) And good luck to those who are right there or who have theres comin up !!! All great advice and im taking it all with me and im going to walk in there with some confidence and take some deep breaths ...
  5. Test is tomorrow afternoon !!!!!!!! .... pretty sure i know all my stuff... took kaplan... my Q trainers were in the high 50's low 60's my last few bank scores were 60, 66, 64 ... i think thats right around where i need to be... but i feel like i am in brain overload ... im getting all the safety precautions mixed up in my head it seems... got the labs covered, procedures, etc.... any last words of advice from recent test takers ? I found the kaplan was tricky as far as knowing dilantin toxic levels... and needing to know alot of peds and OB .. was the NCLEX similar ? I know everyones questions are different but any words of advice or anything that worked to remember something would help :) also .... my state is a quick results state... but im not sure i understand where to go to find out i passed/or didnt ? .. can anyone help w/that ? state is MI ... thank you
  6. i agree.... brain overload is the worst !!!! my test is tomorrow as well... all we can do at this point tho is take deep breaths ... we couldnt have made it this far without knowing something... dont let the anxiety kick your butt !!! :) how can you know the next day ? my state is a quick results state but i thought it was 48 hours....everyone keeps saying they go to a list on their state site and stuff... is there stuff i am not looking at ?
  7. tamilynn33 - sounds like you are getting around the same scores on kaplan and as far as i can see its good enough you passed nursing school you have the brains and dedication to do it go in there with confidence, you can do it !!!! best of luck !! were all rooting for you let us know how it goes !!!
  8. i take mine this tuesday and i swear to myself i am not going to do this "trick" .. but i know myself better than that... so i would like to know... how exactly do i try and register again ? i live in a quick results state so i am going to pay the 7.95 to get them in 48 hours ... but how does this trick work .. what do i need to do ... in case i cant bring myself to wait any longer ? :)
  9. thank you depress nurse :) congrats to your friend and good luck to you as well .. it is enlightening to know it is not just a few of us out there who are wondering the same.. i see there are more people with below 65% scores that pass... so we'll see... thank you for the advice... i will try to keep up the positive outlook and you do the same
  10. good advice thank you ! i scheduled the test for the afternoon... thats when i think the best .. usually lol .. but the day before i hope to rest and just TRY and relax ! :)
  11. hi all... i graduated in december ... and about to face the NCLEX on march 2. I am trying to focus on practicing the questions and learning the strategies and reviewing what i already know.. i know i cant really learn anymore... and i am trying not to focus on how many questions i will get or the "pearson" trick... and i know i cant cram... i need a little confidence before i walk in there .... so my thing is my kaplan scores are only average.... havent hit the 65% kaplan says you need to get on them to pass... my Q bank average is only a 52% ... some of them i did after work though .. i am working as a graduate nurse 40 hrs a week... i do have the next 4 off before the test. My question trainers are: Q1 - 56, Q2 - 53, Q3 - 60, Q4 - 58, Q5 - 48, Q6 - 55, Q7 - 52 .. has anyone else gotten around these scores and passed the NCLEX ? I think Kaplan has been helpful .. but my scores are discouraging... i dont want a negative attitude walking into the testing center.... thanks :)
