Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed. Nursing Students NCLEX Article

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

30 mins after nclex-rn>>>delivery successful>>>> got pop up>>>>after 3 days>>>my name was posted on california BON website>>>NEW RN HERE!! TRICKS DON'T LIE!!!

Im from CA too, and used the PVT on my PN test and it works, now I use it on my RN test.

so 3 days of waiting huh? took my test last 1/29/10.:nurse:

I took the NCLEX on 01/29/09 , came home and tried to register on PV and got the pop up , i did this several times over 2 days, then on Sun. i got my quick results and passed . so it worked for me , i'm in Fl. I passed with 75 questions, but when i walked away from the computer i had no idea if i passed or failed. I took the NCSBN online course for review ( very helpful ) and i highly recommend it . i also took Kaplan live on-line , great class . I think the 2 courses totally prepared me , based on the way the questions are asked i would not have been able to pass it without these 2 courses. If you want to pass on your 1st attempt and feel more confident when you sit for the exam i highly suggest taking the 2 courses. It is worth every dollar you spend preparing. :nurse:

same here..took nclex-rn 1/22/10 friday,,3 working days 1/25/10 my name appeared on ca brn. relax you made it!!!! TUESDAY @3AM, you will see your name too.:yeah:congrats!

i tested (ny) friday, jan 29th and i came out thinking i surely failed. the questions stopped at 75, and though in the back of my mind i thought this was a good thing, i couldn't remember feeling secure about any of my answers. i tried the pearson trick and i got the message, that i can't register for another exam. and 48 hours later, i find out that i passed! it definitely helped ease my nerves a bit, but boy were those the longest two days of my life. so i can say that for me, the trick worked. good luck to you guys and congratulations to those who passed!!!!:nurse:

thank you . . . all i can do is wait :banghead:

Please help. I don't have much money to spend calling Pearson Vue day and night. How long after you take NCLEX can you try to re-register through Pearson Vue and find out if you passed using "the trick"?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have Blessed Day!!:nurse:

It's not about the time it's about whether on the screen on pearson vue if it says "DELIVERY SUCCESSFUL" which means that your test has successfully gone through to pearsonvue. When it does say delivery successful then you may do the trick and it'll tell you the proper results. If you do it when it doesnt say delivery successful you'll get a popup but not the "good" popup it'll say that it's on hold for now(because it hasn't gone through yet)... so just wait till it says delivery successful =)

Took my NCLEX today

came home and got the "good" pop up

It took me 3 hours n 15 minutes and it stopped at 75 questions!!

I had to make sure every question was well thought out.. and i actually prayed after each question took a deep break and talked myself through it. I believe in the PVT trick and know inside that I passed =) 48 hours is long though =(......and the wait beginssss

PVT does work...Took NCLEX 1/29, had 110-115 questions, came home got the "good pop-up" I would check it all the time....It was then longest 48hrs ever!!! I PASSED found out 1/31!!!!!!!

i chatted with someone directly from pearson vue regarding the trick and this is what he said: "it is not true, and has cost candidates $200 who do it, and pay $200 again thinking they failed, and then passed. the $200 is non refundable".

upon reading all reviews i know it seems like it worked for everyone but i wanted to ask personally myself from someone at pearson vue.

i guess i will just have to wait for my results...cause i was going to reregister already....until then i guess ill just start studying in case...

iluvnursing07...did you try it???

so..how do you explain the people who had to retake it and were able to go and register right away since it took them to the cc page? did you get a chance to ask that? because it appears that a lot of people who passed have tried this "trick" and it blocked them. and others (who did not pass) just went directly to the cc page for retake...coincidence?

hypothetically speaking...once you are done with the test, it's already been graded by the computer..right? once the computer grades it, they already know whether one has passed or failed. and if one tries to re-register, if you can't then there is a high probability that the computer knows that you took the test and that you already passed (if you have quick results). however, if one did not pass the test, then the registration process is automatically open (assuming everything is automated). does this sound like something that makes sense?

it's driving me nuts!
