Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?
STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.
STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.
STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.
STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.
STEP 6 Enter Your Username.
STEP 7 Enter Your Password.
STEP 8 Click The Button.
STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.
STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.
STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.
STEP 15 Select Your State.
STEP 16 Type In Your City.
STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.
STEP 18 Select Your School.
STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.
STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.
STEP 21 Click The Button.
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
watney, oh yeah, I forgot about choosing the opposite exam you took=credit card page too. No, I took the NCLEX-RN for California(no quick results) so I have to resign myself to waiting around 3 or 4 weeks to be mailed the official results. I check the PVT around 3 times a day to calm myself down, though I still have minor palpitations when i click the final Next button every time I do it. :)
You don't have to wait 3 or 4 weeks for official results. Just check the CA BRN website daily. I just took the NCLEX-RN on 1/22 and my name and license number was listed on the CA BRN website by 1/29. If your name appears on the BRN website, you passed. The website is below.
Go here and click the link for "Online License Verification System" in teh first paragraph. Enter your name and see iff it appears. It should take a week or so after testing to appear if you passed. At least that's how long it took for me.
im going crazy...i think i failed the test...first try got 205 and fail, second try 96 n the pearson vue is asking 4 cc info..this cant b happening is the pearson trick accuate..do any know someone that took the test with pearson vue asking for cc info and still passed..please someone help..
Thanks for the link loma6685.
Unfortunately, I can't take part in that because I haven't provided the CA BON with a Social Security Number. I'm an international nursing graduate from the Philippines, hence the lack of an SSN. Apparently they don't update the permanent verification system you provided in your link if the examinee lacks certain requirements like an SSN or a TOR.
Hi guys I just took my nlcex-pn last 01-27-10 in california .... so I was curious about this PVT.. an like reading all this comments 10 times .... so Ill let you know if pvt works for me coz i have this good pop up... I just wanna be positive about it coz the california doesnt participate in the quick result.
And Ill be taking my nclex r.n soon
took nclex today, had 75 questions in over an hour and the screen turned blue. Did pearson vue trick and got the good pop up. This is my second time, last time it took me all the way to cc page. Keeping my fingers crossed and praying to show my name on my state's website as it doesn't participates in quick results..
I hope as PVT has been true for others, it comes true for me too. I want to be RN.
I took my RN NCLEX yesterday and computer shut down at just over 100 questions.. the agony of the unknown.. I did the pearson web trick and got the good pop up and will repost again tomorrow and confirm only if it worked for me, this is after I pay the ten bucks & know the unofficial scores.
I took the RN-NCLEX yesterday. I left there knowing for a fact that I failed. I tried the trick last night and got the good pop-up. It has given me a shimmer of hope, although I am trying to suppress that hope just in case it is not accurate. I should find out tomorrow on-line if I passed or not. I will let you all know if the "trick" worked!
