Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed. Nursing Students NCLEX Article

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

In NY you can't even take the NCLEX until your school has sent in transcripts.

Yeah, I assumed that was the case here in CA too. I thought that when I got my eligibility to test letter everything was done. I found out after waiting for 8 days for my name to show up on the BRN, that my transcripts had not even been sent yet. Found this thread about 5 days after, did the trick and got the good pop-up. After reading all of these threads it has given me tons of hope!!

Just took my NCLEX-PN yesterday @ noon in Gainesville, Fl and I am stressing out to the max. I was more nervous coming out then when I was going in. I got stopped at 107-110, the last number I remember seeing was 107 and then shortly after it shut off.

I had a lot of mom/baby, peds and pharm questions and mom/baby and peds are my weak parts. Also had a lot of select all, hot spots and drag and drops in order.

I did the PVT and got the good luck window, but still nothing on the FLBON.....Im so hoping I passed!!! I went through a lot to get here and it wasnt easy. Between ending a 3 year relationship, losing my job, dogs eating my NCLEX book, car breaking down and having to buy a new car, and just finding out 2 weeks ago that my new hospital was being closed down by state, I need this to be an uplift to this past 7 months......Oh yeah I have been out of school for 7 months, before taking my boards. Its been hard, but I saved up all my money and finally got the 404.00 to pay for it. :uhoh3:

Congrats and Good Luck to all who took the test these past few days!!!:yeah:

I've been looking through the threads of the site wanting to see if there is anyone who tried the trick and it did the reverse for them.

So far I've found only one: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/nclex-earlier-pearson-431389-page3.html#post3941088

gieya15 said that he/she tried the trick and it took him/her to the credit card page but he/she passed in the official results.

I'm happy that it worked out for gieya15, but now I'm worried whether the same holds true for those who got the "good" pop-up. I have yet to see a post claiming that they got the "good" pop-up but later failed in the official results. Has anyone come across a post like this?

I would believe the 6,000 other messages that it works. Not the one that didn't. If you got the good pop up... relax and wait for the good news. Let us know.

Alright thanks vickyvic1. You're right, I should believe the majority who said the trick worked for them and not the one person who said otherwise. Who knows, he/she may have made a simple, honest mistake or maybe he/she was just trolling.

And I got the good pop-up.:) Here's to hoping it holds up until the official results.

okay it is proven that the pvt works.

it works for me, i took my pn last dec. and have the good popup and pass the test.

today took my rn around 8am jan. 29, 2010.

the exam is very different now, ( read my prev. post, to know why i know the exam is very different now ).

make the story short, i finished my test around 11:30am until 130 q.

login @ pearson vue and do the pvt around 3pm.

got the good popup, i am very happy coz i know the trick works.

pvt positive on my pn, hopefully a positive on my rn too. :throcomp:

it works.

jan 13th @ 0800 took nclex-rn*. 75 questions and 1.5 hrs later i was done. checked pvt around 1300 and received the "good pop-up" regarding contacting my bon.

jan 15th @ 0800 i was able to pay and view my quick results. pass! :yeah:

jan 19th - license was posted to the tx bon website.

jan 28th - license from tx bon came in the mail.

finally, i'm a nurse! :nurse:

good luck to everyone!

*despite my brain feeling like it had been through the "puree" cycle on a blender, i actually left confident and smiling. told several classmates about the pvt and it worked for them also, they all passed!

It worked for me, today I found out I passed and I tried the trick hours after I took the test and it would not let me pay and today my RN number was posted today. YEAH YEAH YEAH. Thank you soooo much to who ever came up with this it helped me to feel a little pressure lifted and I now believe it works.

How come most of what I've been reading has their results posted on BON either following day after the test or two days after? My state (NH) does not participate with quick results; hence, the wait. It's been 3 days already - aaarghhh. I got the "good" pop up too. But it's scary since you guys are getting your results posted fairly quick. Anyone here been getting the PVT and got their results longer than usual? (particularly the States that are not on quick result)

Well, add me to *The Trick Works* list.

Four hours after I took the NCLEX I stumbled upon this thread and tried *the trick* and got the *good pop up* (the one that didn't let me go to the CC page).

I then proceeded to try the trick apprx 10 times for the next 48hrs (hey nurses are obsessive-compulsive) got the good pop-up every time.

This morning I accessed my Quick Results and got Grade: Pass.

I am quite of the mind, this little trick certainly does work - it makes sense.

Good luck to all!!

The "trick" works -- I got my quick results today and got grade: pass. Yippee. What a relief.. Good luck to all

I'm extremely emotional right now. I took NCLEX thursday 1/28 and I had 265 questions. IT WAS SO HARD. I got 25 sata, a billion meds ive never heard of, priority, delegation, infection control, I had it ALL. i came home depressed and crying and I just told myself I failed. I did 4000+ questions since I took HESI 3 times for my school. I remembered questions and looked at my saunders book and answered them incorrectly... i failed i kept telling myself. I've been reading allnurses.com for the last 48 hours trying to cope and feel better. I checked pearson every 6 hours and tried the trick and it never went to the credit card section, which gave me hope. I logged on this morning, and I PASSED. Don't loose hope and I give props to everyone who keep going and keep trying.
