Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

In California...you do not know for sure your results until you actually receive it in the mail.

Let me also say this. I have taught several students and I was made aware of this so called "trick" just a few months ago. I followed up with this with about 30+ previous students and colleagues who have recent taken their NCLEX this last quarter.... and this "trick" was accurate on them! All of my previous students have so far passed and the website did not allow them to re-register for the test. 3 other friends of mine whom have failed their NCLEX also tried the trick (while I was next to them observing this on the computer)..hence it did allow them to pay for their re-test. To me...just from my own experience..this has been quite accurate. But I cannot speak for others.

Like I said..you will not know for sure until the results come in...but I remember being in your shoes...I would have tried this "trick" to. In the meanwhile...keep positive...and let's see.

hi, I took my nclex-rn on Jan 8 and 12pm in CA and still have not seen my name on the BRN website. I get the "good" pop up at pearson vue but I'm starting to get nervous!

I just took the NCLEX today in Louisiana and got the good "error" pop up. I'm so thankful that my state participates in the Quick Results bc I'm freaking out already. The trick is the only thing keeping me from losing it right now. I didn't find the test too hard but not exactly a walk in the park. I've already started working so having to retake the boards would be awful. I'm keeping a positive attitude and a pair of crossed fingers! :)

Pop up says "the candidate currently has test results on hold, a new registration can not be done at this time" what does that mean??? I am in Virginia

took the NCLEX -RN this morning - ended at 75, feel like I failed but tried the pearson trick and the "good" message came up. Still not feeling real good, not sure what to think.

I didn't do it right the first time, make sure you log in and then click the register button on the left of your screen and go through the process again -- you may have done that, but I tried to re-register and a message similar to yours came up. good luck.

Me too!! I really really hope it works. I haven't come across anyone who got that message and didn't pass though so it sounds like it might just be true. It's better than nothing at this point. SO NERVEWRACKING!
