Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?
STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.
STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.
STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.
STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.
STEP 6 Enter Your Username.
STEP 7 Enter Your Password.
STEP 8 Click The Button.
STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.
STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.
STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.
STEP 15 Select Your State.
STEP 16 Type In Your City.
STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.
STEP 18 Select Your School.
STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.
STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.
STEP 21 Click The Button.
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I truly believe this trick works becausing I was depending on this the day I took my test and it didn't let me pay so I was finally able to go to bed even through I wasn't a 100% sure. The next morning around 9:30 am I checked my state BON website and my name came up with my license number!:yelclap: I guess I shoulf probab;y change my screen name now then
Do you sign as per normal, OR do you have to pick new username and password??? Thanks

YOU SHOULD GET A MESSAGE THAT READS:
"Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."
If you get this message, you passed.
If it allows you to proceed past this point...bad news. Sorry.
That is the "Pearson Vue Trick." So far, it has worked for thousands of students.
We believe this "message" is in place to prevent those whose passing scores PV has forwarded to the State Board from registering again to sit for the NCLEX exam.
By NOT allowing a passing score to re-register (and pay the testing fee), PV does not break confidence with the State Board of Nursing, while at the same time avoiding the costly bank/cc fees and other paperwork involved in having to refund a testing fee.
Receiving a letter/online notification from the SBON is the only OFFICIAL route, however.
It has been pointed out more than once that this "trick" is a great stress reliever (esp. for we LVN students in California who must wait 4 weeks to receive an official letter via mail!)
I wish you all the very best of luck! We are all pushing for the same thing, and we are all here on AllNurses.com to support each other, no matter what happens.
Remember...we are FAMILY.
Cheers,
Carolina Nights
HopingtobeanRN,Just because the CA BON is slow does not invalidate, in any way, the fact that the PV Trick does, in fact, work (as evidenced by the overwhelming supportive data found in just this thread alone.)
California state workers (and their associated departments) are a huge mess due to the flummox our legislators have made of the state budget (coming up with one months past the due date...yet again). All departments, up to and INCLUDING the State Board of Nursing, have been suffering through employee layoffs and furloughs.
Patience.

Hi,
I understand that I should not be assuming anything, but I think it is just my nerves getting the best of me and I cannot stop myself from thinking about the "what ifs"! I am scared of the outcome! I am hoping the trick works for me! Thanks for your post!
yes the pearson trick worked for me. I did it like2 hours after i tested. It wouldnt let me pay...it stopped me with a pop up message. I did the trick like 6 times before my quick results were available. I got my results in 48 hours and I passed with 75 ?s. I wish you the best of luck and if you have to retake it atleast you have a heads up on what to look for next
