Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed. Nursing Students NCLEX Article

  1. Did you get the Good pop up or bad pop up

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I took it today at I used Kaplan and it was very helpful. Actually the format is even the same. I think Kaplan is a degree more difficult than NCLEX. I will keep you posted as to my results. Good luck!

Ok, so I took NCLEX-RN today and my test quit at 84 questions! I have not heard of anyone's test ending at that particular number of questions. I got 8 SATA; 2 order of events; 2 math; a ton of priorty and a ton or question med orders. So I did the PVT and I got the message "Contact state BON" just 4 minutes ago. So.......I will keep you posted!

Good luck everyone!

I took my nclex yesterday and found out today that I passed. So I went to the pearsonvue site and tried to re-register. I got the message saying "that a test had already been scheduled, and could not be rescheduled at this time". Hopefully, that means it works!

Good luck!! :D

To be quite honest I do not truly come to this page to see if the trick worked or not. I think this thread here in the end turned out to be more a thread that allowed others to share their joy in passing their Nclex, or in some cases their dismay. I like this thread because so many here have positive results and passed and that is for me uplifting. This is what gives me the confidence that hopefully by August or September I can come on here and share the same with others by stating that the trick worked.

I do want to say something about that poster who wrote about statistics and research. You are certainly correct in your wording and your theory of statistics, but I found that the tone of that post in a sense was demeaning. Though while you spit out your knowledge to others you certainly should learn how to voice such knowledge and convey understanding that for any of us, trick or not, this is a really stressful time and often that with such it does not matter to them what statisitics say;because you just pray that you are not in that 0.01 pile where it did not work, or as is with Nursetobe worked. Since, statsitics includes that small window of error.

So, while you speak to the Nurses and soon Nurses to be you should be compassionate with them and instead of trying to belittle them you should change your tone and maybe state it like that...

Hey, most of those posting it worked, so chances are it will work for you too...

I would not rely on this to tell you the results. BUT, I conducted a little research just to see. I took my nclex yesterday and found out today that I passed. So I went to the pearsonvue site and tried to re-register. I got the message saying "that a test had already been scheduled, and could not be rescheduled at this time". Even though, I would wait for the official results. Honestly the nclex itself was stressful enough, this can only make things harder on you if your waiting for your results.

Good luck!! :D

Congrats!

The bottom line is that, yes, we all have to wait for the "official" word. But the "trick" worked for you, didn't it? :D And it has worked for thousands of others as well.

That fact alone calms the nerves of MANY hopeful students, and I believe that is the REAL advantage to the Pearson Vue Trick!

Yes, I guess it did work! I didn't know that the pop-up I got meant it worked, so I edited my original post. I checked on the pearsonvue site yesterday before finding out that I passed and it really stressed me out more. BUT, I think EVERYTHING was stressing me after taking the nclex and my mind was drained. Thanks for your reply :nuke:

YOU SHOULD GET A MESSAGE THAT READS:

"Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

If you get this message, you passed.

If it allows you to proceed past this point...bad news. Sorry.

That is the "Pearson Vue Trick." So far, it has worked for thousands of students.

We believe this "message" is in place to prevent those whose passing scores PV has forwarded to the State Board from registering again to sit for the NCLEX exam.

By NOT allowing a passing score to re-register (and pay the testing fee), PV does not break confidence with the State Board of Nursing, while at the same time avoiding the costly bank/cc fees and other paperwork involved in having to refund a testing fee.

Receiving a letter/online notification from the SBON is the only OFFICIAL route, however.

It has been pointed out more than once that this "trick" is a great stress reliever (esp. for we LVN students in California who must wait 4 weeks to receive an official letter via mail!)

I wish you all the very best of luck! We are all pushing for the same thing, and we are all here on AllNurses.com to support each other, no matter what happens.

Remember...we are FAMILY. :D

Cheers,

Carolina Nights
